Durable

Nice hay bag

My horses tend to be a bit rough on hay bags, but I think this one will stand up to their torture. Great seller. Package arrived nicely packed and on time. Will buy again.

Easy to hang.

I was looking for a hay feeder to use for my horse when I tie him to the trailer. He is a very slow eater so I needed something that was easy for him to eat hay without pulling it through holes. This works perfectly for him and is so easy to hook on the outside of my trailer.

Absolutely perfect — Updated — close to perfect

This hay net is exactly what I was hoping for! It's perfect for my new horse Peanut! Planning to get her name embroidered on it as well! Used it this weekend for hauling her home. ** Update 10/28 ** So my horse somehow managed to get her foot through the hole for the hay and stuck her hoof all the way through the bottom and had herself stuck in it for an unknown amount of time between nightfall and the next morning. If you’re using this make sure your horse is not extremely athletic, or if so, the hay net is superbly far up because they can and will have an accident. The mesh itself broke apart from the actual firm part of the bag, but the fabric never tore. The fabric stayed intact and trapped my horses leg their the entire time. She thankfully is a calm horse and didn’t freak out so I managed to get it unhooked and her safely removed without much trouble. I will say this is the sturdiest hay net you could possibly ask for. I am debating buying another one because I’m so fond of it, but I’m also reluctant because my horse is a trouble making monster who likes to give me premature grey hair. To each their own. Still would recommend.

Great for all livestock

This is very well made

This is built extremely well and even withstands my rabbits chewing but I have a rabbit that’s extremely adventurous and she manages to eat some of the hay and make a hole then climb in the bag and freak out because she has no idea how to get out so then she starts screaming. ( I don’t know if you have ever heard a rabbit scream but it’s very disturbing) so then her boyfriend freaks out starts thumbing all over the room while one of her daughters tries to save her and the other continues to eat the hay she pulled out in the first place. ( they are all fixed besides the youngest daughter so don’t worry) but yeahhhh this is extremely well made and if your rabbit isn’t a little punk it will probably work out great for you guys.

Hard to clean

It held up well for over a year. But its hard to get stains or just wash it.

Good but....

This product is good but could easily be improved. I use it for providing our horses a feeder while hitched to the horse trailer. First, the entrance hole could be an inch or two higher keeping the leaves from alfalfa leaves inside when the horses yank the hay out. Second, a clip could be attached on the backside allowing the bag to be tied to keep the horse from twisting the bag as it yanks out the hay. I provided a strap to attach the bag to the trailer but that is minor, just a notation because when I bought a similar bag 20 years ago, it came with one. So, it's still a good hay bag.
