A nice addition to the bug-trapping toolbox
For some reason, flies swarm my home every late summer, and I was rather surprised to find these as an option. They're a simple enough design, a cardboard corner that slaps onto the window. While not all in the box had the best adhesion, I'm generally pleased with these and have caught a number of flies and, unexpectedly, a few moths. It's a nice out-of-the-way option if you hate the look of fly paper.

Not bad!
For some weird reason, our development has a significant fly problem. No matter what we do, they end up in our homes, multiplying endlessly and causing such a nuisance. These little traps set easily into the windowsills and immediately start catching flies. The frequency of hearing frantic buzzing and loud "thunks" as they crash into our windows, or dive-bomb our TVs and lightbulbs has been drastically reduced with these traps. Definitely will buy more.

Discrete and effective
These things are great! I first got them at them at a grocery store years ago, but they stopped carrying them. I have to order them through Amazon. It will only catch flies that bounce back and forth along the window, which almost all the ones that get caught in my house do. It does not have anything in them that attract flies. They just accidentally fly into them. They are not toxic. The flies simply get stuck so when they lose their stickiness, they are no longer are effective. If your house accumulates dust quickly or has lots of pet hair, this could affect how long they will last since it will clog the traps and rid them of their stickiness. Only downside is that the sticker on the back can fail if you try to move them to another location, even just once. I wish it was stickier. It also leaves a sticky mark on your window, but it can be removed with acetone.

The least gross fly trap I know of
I’ve been buying these for years, it’s the least gross fly trap I know of, because you can’t really see the flies unless you look down inside it. Otherwise it just looks like a white cardboard triangle in your window. They’re really effective too. The personal real reason I like these is that I have a pet bird that I let fly around the house and I fear with fly tape she’d fly into it and get stuck in it. I do need to watch her with these though because she likes to chew on the cardboard. I stop her when I see it, but luckily the adhesive must be non-toxic because she’s had no negative effects yet.

They don't stay stuck...
Fly trap? No, no, no. What this really is is an object you'll find lying on the floor at some point. You'll see it from across the room and wonder, "What in the world is that white cardboard thing? Did someone make something out of posterboard and leave it laying around the house? Maybe a cardboard airplane?" You'll bend over to grab it, and your one of your fingers will invariably touch the sticky trap surface inside. You might try to stick it back to the window, but it didn't stick the first time when the adhesive was fresh, so it won't likely stick with a second attempt. These seem like a great idea, keeping the fly carcasses out of sight, but they just don't stick. These are the ones you really want! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AN8BWG0?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_56 They're clear, so they don't show until they start doing their job. If you have a BBQ, or the kids and their friends are in and out forgetting to close the door behind them, and lots of flies get in the house, they will eventually go to the windows to try to find their way out. They tend to start at the top of the window and work their way down, always ending up at the bottom. So if you don't have curious children in the house, you can mount these down low. I happen to have a very high arch window in the living room, and I put two of these on the bottom of that window, at each side, and it catches so many flies! I put them in lots of windows when in and out traffic is very heavy. It doesn't take long until we notice that we haven't seen any flies for a while. Simply pull the trap off, fold it in half, and toss it in the trash! It sure beats stinky chemical sprays! The only thing more fun for killing flies is the new and improved Bug Zapper! Five bucks at Walmart keeps the kids busy for a long time, especially outside at night near the porch light!

Sometimes the cheapest solution is the best
So I've been having a fly problem that has been popping off this summer for some reason. I got some fly swatters so I could kill them manually and I noticed them gathering at the windows so I figured I would try these cheap window traps because Black Flag is a great brand. I didn't notice any flies flying around my house after I killed all the ones that DID fly around my house, and after seeing a little one flying by me I decided to check my windows after I installed the traps a few days before and much to my shock, after sealing up the holes the best that I could, my window was FILLED with flies so I grabbed my fly swatter and killed over a dozen of them. Then I checked the traps, and the ones I killed was only a fraction of them. These traps got a LOT! These things are an excellent deal, four for three dollars. I'm ordering several more boxes of them to keep in the house. Amazing product for the price if you have flies that gather and/or enter at the window.

Works great to on bugs and fly!
I used these in our garage windows! Worked awesome on bugs, flys ect…. The inside glue works great!! Would highly recommend as a good maintenance for getting rid of bugs, spiders ect…. no bug cleanup or stinky aerosols. When it gets full throw it away and put a new one on.
