Works well, worth the price.

They work fine, but I wish they had better instructions or tips for use. They are probably sturdy enough, but because they're not solid metal they don't "seem" sturdy. The grips are more comfortable than the metal ones. They will cut smoothly, but could probably be a little sharper. Overall, I think they work fine and are a good value.

NOT ADJUSTABLE

People have asked HOW DO YOU ADJUST THESE because the packages says you can but NO ANSWER because all that plastic is set in place and there is NO ADJUSTMENT. They LIE to get you to buy them and then when you buy them you can not even ask the seller because that option is never given to you since AMAZON is the seller. No one knows how to adjust them. No one answers the question. So if you want a one size fits all GO FOR IT... For the rest of us this is crap.

Good nail clippers!

I have 3 pitbulls, these worked great on them! The only thing is that the file doesn’t really do much. But the blades are sharp and clipped effortlessly.

Actually works!

I've tried four other nail clippers before these and they were awful. These ones actually work well, even for our large dog with thickkk nails. The little "file" is useless though, just toss it. But happy to have some that cut well for once!

Very easy to use. Great product. Very good safety precautions.

I liked that Bissell offered a great product that was easy to use. My pet responded better to this one , than the previous one. My pet is a larger animal and I was concerned because of the title for small or large, but looking at it, and utilizing it was an example of how it could work for the minis to the larger. Will recommend this one to family and friends.

Better than regular clippers

So much better than the traditional pet toenail clippers. My 3 dogs hate having their toenails trimmed. One even hides in the bathroom to greet away from me. So far, these clippers have made the job much easier and faster. I must say I can't figure out the safety guard, but honestly that part doesn't bother me. They seem pretty sturdy, so I'm definitely happy with the purchase.

Kinda weird, bad cut, blades too big.

Ok, so these are kind of weird and it’s hard to explain how. I’m a vet tech and have used a lot of different clippers over the years. These looked similar to the ones I used for my pets at home, so I got them when I lost my other pair. They are definitely not like the kind we use at the office or that I used at home. The only way I can describe it is that when you use them, they don’t feel “crisp”. They make the nail chip a lot, instead of just the cut nail flying off, I get a bunch of shaved nail that looks like dander on my pants. It’s not a good cut. My girl even yelped twice, even though she wasn’t quicked. Which is not like her at all. I assume that these are uncomfortable for them, and based on the feeling I was getting when I was using them, I agree. The tips of the blade hook are also too large, unless you have a large dog, you can’t get between the pad and nail at all on some digits to get a proper cut. Really disappointing.

Good quality

After reading hundreds of reviews on hundreds of different nail clippers I thought this brand would be the best quality to replace my favorite old Clippers that are now broken. This is a good Clipper and good sturdy quality. Easy to use on our large breed dogs. Many reviews said these Clippers were quiet. I was skeptical on how any particular Clipper could be more quiet than another. The result is NO, they are not any more quiet than previous models I've used. However at the end of the day I'm happy with my purchase and I have no doubt that they will last for years to come.

Does the trick

These clippers are definitely chunky enough to handle, but I feel the blade of the clippers isn't strong enough for larger dog nails. My dog gets her nails trimmed biweekly. I used for the first time and the blades are all dented and I felt like the cut wasn't as smooth as it could be. The clippers I normally use I gave to my parents for their dog and they seemed sharper and stronger blades for a quick snip. These I'm worried the nail will get stuck or won't cut as nice after a few.

Hard to use.

There are no clear instructions on how to use these and I find them very difficult to use on a larger dog, plus they are so hard to handle I am scared of hurting her and she jerks her paws away from me..
