Sturdy cane but tip did not last.

I bought the Carex Cane in 2020 to help with a Knee replacrment. The cane was aolid and i liked the adjustments ability. However after using the cane for about 3 -4 weeks, the outer edge of the tip cracked out. I was surprised as I was expecting the tip to last for a couple of years. I dont know if the rubbee was just old and dry or what but I would have rated 5 Stars but for the durability of the tip.

Comfortable

The Handle is a comfortable fit to the hand and the cane is light, yet sturdy and easy to adjust to height. Purchased for my spouse as he had an older heavy metal one and said this is a great improvement.

Light, sturdy, handsome.

The media could not be loaded. This is my first cane. I just turned 41 and have started to show early signs of spinal arthritis (lumbar). A cane really helps take the strain off. This one I bought to use while I wait for my custom oak one to arrive from Ukraine (Asterom brand. Great people to work with if you're shopping around). And I like it a LOT more than the offset handle loaner I was using before it arrived. This cane - it's AWESOME. Especially for the price. Feels really solid and sturdy, but super lightweight. For reference I'm 5'10", 200 lbs on a good day. I keep it adjusted to the middle of it's height range, so should cover most people's needs, no matter how tall. I've been using it for about a week and it's been a real joy. The color is nice. It's different than the stock photos, but I like it better in person. I'd seen others mention this and liked it in the photos they shared. It reminds me of the paint on my '91 Cadillac (light metallic sapphire), but a few shades deeper. The only concern I have with this cane is not very significant and not very specific to this product - I don't usually buy things with this rubberized type of grip because I find it doesn't age well and just ends up sticky after a while. Since the alternative in this case had a poorly finished shellacked wood handle, I decided to go with the soft touch. It's really comfortable, so we'll see how it holds up. Anyways, get the cane. You probably won't regret it.

Great adjustability for tall people at an affordable price

Just to be clear, I’m a younger guy who needed some help after a back injury. Have had a hard time walking around due to radiculopathy in my left leg and as embarrassing as it may seem, having a cane has been really nice. This fit the bill for me since I had never used a cane before, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but I’m over 6’2”, so I needed extra height. Adjustable, so even someone taller than me would have another notch. I’d say it’s good for someone at least 6’3” or 6’4”, possibly even 6’5” depending on long legs vs long torso. Lightweight, handle feels really nice in my hand, and as long as you tighten the collar, it doesn’t make any clicking sound that I see people worrying about. Adjustability is also nice because when I wear different shoes I sometimes need to adjust up or down. Takes all of 10 seconds to loosen the collar, click it up or down a notch, and tighten the collar back down. Young or old, this is a great affordable choice. The only change I made was to get a multi-pronged tip so the cane could stand up by itself next to my chair and bed. Got tired of leaning it on things and having it fall over, which is then really hard to me to bend down and pick back up. I prefer the regular tip when out in public because it’s more convenient/quicker for walking long distance, so I do a quick tip swap when needed. Also keeps the gross things you’d pick up out in public from being tracked into the house.

Not Noisy!

My previous cane made a loud tap noise at each step and always had. Very annoying. This cane is not only sturdy, but is very quiet. The construction of the cane is what makes the difference. My old one had just enough (though barely) movement in the shaft where the two parts meet to create and amplify the tap. This cane is constructed such that there is no movement in the shaft when it hits the floor or ground, thus no overt tap (unless I make it hit hard on purpose). I'm planning to buy a back up.

Buena calidad, rsistencia, cómodo y práctico.

Excelente bastón, cómodo, práctico, muy buena calidad, hasta elegante se ve, la empuñadura cómoda, la altura se ajusta perfectamente en mi caso 190 CMS y aún quedan un par de espacios para extender a más altura. Lo único deseable una marca de dónde está el tope en el tubo y los orificios para no estar buscando. Excelente compra!

As expected.

An acceptable, adjustable bare bones cane device. Adds a little confidence to a wobbly user. The difference between proceeding independently, or not, for short excursions.

Works great!

Is a light aqua instead of the shown dark blue, but I knew that from there reviews so I wasn't surprised. It's very sturdy and the handle is soft but not enough to feel wobbly. All in all, a good purchase.
