These help me broaden my preserving horizons

I like that all the items in this pack work well and do exactly what they are supposed to do. It's been a LONG time since I canned anything; these tools are helping me get back into that particular groove. They don't take up a lot of space, either.

Excellent value, Plenty Sturdy for my use

Some reviews mention sturdiness of the jar grabbers as an issue, but I've found these to be more than sturdy enough for my use. I water bath can using pint jars and the grabbers are plenty solid for me placing and removing the jars into and from the water. The funnel is fine - I use for regular mouth jars and it has good stability. No much to say about the measuring stick, but it works. I only wish the measuring stick had a magnet on one end for grabbing the sealing lids from the warming pot. Overall, this is an excellent price for useful canning tools.

Good Utility

Serves its purpose very well. The funnel is standard size. I use it for filling coffee bean in the hopper of grinder and basket of moka pot. It fits well.

Grasp is not good!!

I have several of these set's, made buy other company's and also by Ball. This jar grasper odes not have a wide enough opening to fit the large mouth jar. It is made of a poor quality, even the metal handle is weaker. The funnel and jar packer will work, but I will not use the jar grasper!! I am a bit disappointed in this purchase.

This is great for the price I paid, but not current price

I got this set for the deal of a century. Not sure how, but I'm grateful. For the price i paid this is a phenomenal product....however, I see what the price is now and I would be very disappointed to pay that. As others have said it's cheap dollar store type plastic. If you only pay $5-$9 for the set u would say go for it. But at the price it currently is I would recommend searching for another set.

Not from USA, Not Ball Quality

I have been using the Ball brand for 36 years. Seriously, you can use their 100 year old jars in the pressure canner and have seals for 5 years! Other brands don't hold a candle to the Ball brand. I was very disappointed when I looked on the side of the box to find that 2 products were made in New Zealand and one in China. I purchase Ball brand because I am assured of USA quality! I have the jar lifter and funnel from 36 years ago and compared it to what I received today. The jar lifter is not sturdy and I doubt it will be able to lift quart jars. The plastic on the funnel is so thin, you can see through it. I wonder what will happen when I pour boiling jelly through it! The jar measure is something they didn't have 36 years ago. You measured by where the liquid was on the screw lines of the jars. I noticed the newer jars were a bit different, thus the need for the jar measure. I will use it, but again so thin I wonder if jelly will melt it. In summary, I'll either donate or throw away the jar lifter and funnel. I'll use the jar measure on the newer jars I have purchased. If I wanted to support China, I would have purchased something else. I want to support the USA ????????. Ball dropped the Ball on this.

This was very cheap and the plastic part on the grips keep falling off
