Awesome, Sturdy Condo with Hideous Colors
Fantastic cat condo. Super sturdy. People get scared when their cat condoes sway and think they aren't sturdy, but they are misguided. My cat has charged this condo and run up to the top without the slightest inclination of it falling over. The top part doesn't seem like it's sturdy, but it toally is. My cat doesn't even care about the other levels, she just loves to go to the top and fall asleep. And I know Armarkat is top quality and the scratching posts will last a long time before shredding. Neither me, nor my cat has ever doubted the quality or construction of this cat condo. It's perfect. The only knock on it is the colors are absolutely hideous. It's this ugly orange/brown grossness that is only subsided by the fact that it's for a cat and your friends will understand. It is actually more ok-looking in person, but still ugly. It won't ruin your decor, but it will come close. I have no idea why they produced this color, but it's all I could find. It hides darker cat hair, so we'll pretend that's a plus.

Great quality cat tree
Product Update: I have had this cat tree for two years now and I was wrong about the nest area. My little kitten is now a big 13 pound adult male cat and he still manages to squeeze his whole body into the nest area and is very happy to still sleep there. It is his favorite spot. This is a well built, easy to put together cat tree. The fur is soft but shaggy and cleans up easily. Cat hair does not seen to stick to this material. The sisal rope is thick and will last a long time. I have five cats and this looks as good now as the day it arrived. I did get rid of the center house since it was too small for any of my cats to use. I have a 5 month old kitten who loves the little nest area. It is one of his favorite places to sleep. However, when he is full grown, he won't fit in it anymore which is why I gave this only 4 stars. I have two cat trees from Armarkat and they are very good quality for the money and will last a long time.

Good design, but has several flaws
I like the fact that this has several places to hide. So far my cat likes the bottom level best, where she can hide behind the step. However the "loop" on the top full-size deck doesn't seem to have much purpose besides making it hard for my cat to lie down, so I've removed it. I also read in other reviews that the elastic string for the ball is dangerous, so I replaced it with yarn. The main reason I'm only giving 3 stars is the hardware. This tree comes with two types of connectors -- bolts with a head and double-ended bolts. The double-ended bolts are simply not long enough, and I wasn't able to put the tree together fully for a month, since I had to go to the hardware store and have them *custom cut* 5/16 bolts that were the right length (which I had to guess). I mean, for goodness' sake! They must have put this together at the factory and realized the ones they had weren't long enough. They decided to send it out "as is" anyhow, which I think is pretty shady. If I weren't handy, I would have tried to return it (very expensive shipping)!

kitties love it!
My cats both love the tree, although seems to be made for smaller cats, top perch not very deep, shallow little hut in the middle and hanging hammock. Good quality and has survived the wear and tear of swinging crazy cats. Was relatively easy to assemble just make sure to tighten the parts well as you go, although not impossible to re-tighten afterwards not easy either ;)

Would highly recommend
My kitties love this tree. I bought it in part to help coax my shy kitty out from under the bed. She's been on it several times now :) It rocks a little bit when they go bounding up to the top (especially my big 15 pound Maine Coon!) but its sturdy enough and has not tipped over.
