I love this stuff! Useful indoors and out. Paintable
I’ve used this product with a drywall trowel to smooth out chipped doors or recently used it to smooth over a back door that was warping a bit at the bottom. When painted the rubbery feel goes away. Super outdoor caulk as it’s flexible and will expand and contract. I guess I use it most as an outdoor spackling company and filler. Fill screw holes where you need an all weather fill. Great stuff for maintaining your home. There’s probably endless ways to use this product. Spreads easy smooths well with a trowel. Dries fairly quickly. Paintable.

Recurring Ceiling Cracks
Live in FL home that had some sink hole remediation but still can shift causing cracks. My ceilings were poorly and incorrectly seamed, therefore contributing to sagging tape etc. I needed an alternative to hard drying, traditional drywall mud, so applying this was a no brainer. It does have a somewhat rubbery exterior which is exactly what I needed, flexibility to move w/settling. I will need to see long term effects, but so far I'm pretty optimistic. Very easy to spread, but doubtful you can sand, but easily accepts paint. I have a stucco pattern on ceiling therefore no sanding necessary. I did notice some shrinkage!!! You do have to apply in layers of like 1/8" - 1/4" at a time as deeper fillings don't seem to dry as well. Going over some fresh tape usually will take two layers of applications, do first one thinner, w/topper thicker. Stuffs fairly expensive but in my circumstance for recurring cracks, I'll pay anything not to keep caulking etc.

Very easy to use: Sands easily with a yellow scrapper
Very good product once you have worked with the product for a while. I have used this product as a skim coat. Good for small or medium cracks. For large cracks you fill up layer by layer. Regarding sanding you use a yellow scrapper tool. Once again a wonderful product.

Flexible but tough to sand
Works well when flexible joints are important. I did find it difficult to smooth out - so be careful when applying because sanding or use of sponge afterwards is tough.

Works great
I thought this was more like drywall mud that a tub of caulk. Anyway, we had a crack in our ceiling and I cut out the previous owners repair. I cut a "v" in the crack put fiberglass tape in the crack and around it. Put this stuff on as smooth as I could. I waited a couple of weeks and skim coated with drywall mud to get a smoother finish. So far so good thru the first thaw cycle in Northern WI.

Great!
Great deal for this product and it works great too. I only needed a little bit and anywhere I checked nearby only had gallons of it to sell so was happy to find this.

very strong used as a glue
I have been repairing a RV interior roof. I don't recommend doing this project it is a real bitch. I used this compound as a glue and a filler. Just stick to the 1/4 inch depth. I used on foamboard from home depot and it worked as good as it gets I also used as a glue for a carpet type headliner ,Perfect You can not tear apart anything you've glued together absolutely a great product. I wish it came in a tube for a caulking gun. It has a learning curve for spreading on ceilings

it's still a good option. But if you want something that will ...
When I was growing up,. if you needed to fill something bigger than the fraction of an inch suitable for joint compound, and you didn't want shrinkage, you used plaster of Paris. That still works for me, and if you don't mind mixing something as you go along and having something that starts to set within a minute of being mixed, it's still a good option. But if you want something that will fill big gaps easily without shrinking, this product fits the bill very well. It stays pliable more than long enough to work with it, is easy to clean up when wet, doesn't shrink, and dries to a paintable surface. The only down side is that it's not designed to be sanded. So if you need to finish your work with sanding, leave room for a top layer of joint compound. But if you want something firm and flexible, this works better as is.

not really working
good size for average job. container is tight and mixed perfectly. used to spread over joints that are cracking under regular spackle but i did not find that this product was any different. cracks still reappear. product is suppose to be flexible but it hardens more than regular spackle. not sure the point of this. probably wouldn't buy again. applied several times in different locations with the same unacceptable results.
