I have rebuilt my 20 year old model twice in the past and I wish it was infinitely rebuildable
I have rebuilt my 20 year old model once or twice in the past and this time the bore that seals against the o-ring has pitting that prevents the o-ring from sealing. See photo with green oxidation in the pits in the bore. The other photo shows the erosion of the brass o-ring holder shaft that is included in the rebuild kit. The rebuild kit is a bit spendy (~$40) for what is typically needed (an o-ring $1-3 (definitely) and a rubber seal ($14 maybe needed) and some silicone o-ring grease ($4). https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Repair-RK1-600XL-Pressure-Reducing/dp/B09LCFY31J https://www.amazon.com/Wilkins-RK1-600XL-Repair-Kits/dp/B00XVN5JMC https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Silicone-Grease-1-Pack-88693/dp/B000DZFUPC One o-ring 3/4” O.D. x 9/16” I.D. x 3/32" from most any hardware store Home Depot has Danco #11 which is very similar to OEM https://www.amazon.com/Danco-Rubber-Ring-Card-96728/dp/B001HOEU5Y The rubber "Seal Ring" is only available in the rebuild kit and can be flipped over to buy some more years... Some have successfully cut down the rubber gasket that come in the Orbit Brass Valve Rebuild kit for 3/4" 1" with a razor blade https://www.amazon.com/Orbit-WaterMaster-Underground-Anti-Siphon-Repair/dp/B000FCGS22 There are videos and instructables on rebuilding pressure reducing valves A pressure gauge is helpful so you may set the water pressure the way you want and to diagnose the failure of the pressure reducing valve... Before replacement my water pressure was rapidly creeping from the set point of 50psi to full municipal water pressure 120psi. https://www.amazon.com/Orbit-WaterMaster-Underground-91130-200-Pound/dp/B0015Z5G4E I wish that the brass bore that failed was made of a more durable material or a replaceable material (such as a stainless steel sleeve) as the pitted surface shown in the photo required replacement of the entire PRV. The seat is a stainless insert, so it seems like the bore could be too. Previous to the Wilkins Zurn PRV I had a Watts PRV...In my experience, both brands are of similar quality and both share the same design flaw of a brass bore that gets pitted so the o-ring does not seal even with a rebuild kit, so the whole PRV needs to be replaced. I replaced what I had with another Wilkins Zurn as it was an easy one wrench ~15min max swap from old to new and a bit of adjusting to set the pressure to 50psi. My PRV is located near a wall so I removed the large bell-shaped housing over the spring on the old and new valves, so I could spin off and on the threaded pipe end. Again plenty of videos online on how to replace a PRV.

Reduces Pressure - that's it's job
Review for 1-1/4" valve: Zurn 112-600XL Lead-Free FNPT Union Pressure Reducing Valve. Reduces pressure as designed - and as expected. After installation it was easy to adjust output pressure. This product has been installed now for 6 months, and still doing it's job (as expected, and hopefully for much longer). The previous pressure reducer failed, likely due to contaminants stuck in the mechanism that wouldn't flush out. A valve rebuild kit costs almost as much as a new item, and then there's no guarantee that it will work. Since this new pressure reducer was replacing an identical one, the installation was fairly straight forward. Even though I applied Teflon tape to the threads, it was a challenge to get the thread joints tight enough to not leak. This (I presume) was due to the pipe diameter (1-1/4"), so my pipe wrenches required some extra leverage (in the form of some spare pipes over the handles for more length) - that's not the fault of the product, just physics, and my muscles.

Takes some good sized wrenches to install but works well
Moved into a new house that had a non-functional Wilkins 600, so the choice was buy the same size or redo the connections. I went with this 600XL which was a lead law compliant direct replacement. the only problem I had is the end that screws on directly took some large wrenches to remove the old unit and put this one on. The pipe threads on the connecting pipe may have been stretched a bit by whoever put the old one on, but to get enough leverage to completely stop any leakage, I used a 16 inch crescent wrench and a pipe wrench. Tightening the union end was easy as all it has to do to be water tight is compress the rubber washer in between. Without adjusting it, pressure afterwards was right around the claimed factory set 50 psi. Incoming is 82 psi, which caused a lot of water noise when the upstairs bathtub and also when the washing machine filled. So the reduced pressure has made a big difference in the noise level and also probably on the wear and tear on washers and pipe joints. One toilet valve had an occasional drip from the fill hose and I replaced it right after moving in. It probably would not have had to be replaced if I had done this valve first. The tank fills a few inches lower at shut off now so there is definite lower water usage. The lower pressure has also helped with a shower that was almost impossible to set a good temperature on. It was either too hot or too cold and the spot where it worked the best was bearable, but too hot versus normal temperature. I think that was due to the pressure difference between the cold water and from the hot water heater, and probably it went from too little to too much cold water in the mix. Now there is no problem finding a good temperature since there is a much wider temperature range possible.

Easy drop-in replacement
Thankfully Zurn has kept the overall dimensions identical since I last installed their valve when I built my house 32 years ago. I was dreading replacement when the old unit failed (can't complain, in wet dirt - the valve box I had it in got filled by gophers through the years), but I was pleasantly surprised when the job, when I finally got the initiative to try to tackle it, went smoothly in about 30 minutes. Thanks Zurn for keeping the size exactly the same! My only issue was the packaging - Amazon sent it in an envelope which got the box crushed, and the one I got seemed to be a return as the bag with the small parts was opened, and there was water in the valve. I saw returned items being sold for about $20 less (and the price of a new unit dropped about $5 from when I bought mine - doh!). But I know Amazon's owner is barely scraping by, so how, in good conscience, could I ask for any kind of discount?

Seems to resond slowly to adjustement
I used an NPT to PEX adapter on each end. Water pressure before installation was 80psi. After installation the water pressure was about 35psi, so the factory setting of 50psi was not accurate on this one. I adjusted the pressure to 50 PSI. It took a few turns of the adjustment screw to go from 35 to 50 psi.

Worked well
The package was pretty beat up but the product was fine

High quality and worked perfectly
Worked as advertised. No noise. No leaks. Easy to adjust the pressure (I increased in about 5 PSI above the factory set pressure). Has been installed 3 months and no issues. Totally eliminated the water hammer in the house by adjusting to 50 PSI. (Irrigation system still needed a water hammer arrester ). Solved my problems!
