Wonderful Square for Hobbyists

The small right angle rule/square are ideal for anyone who works in mini- and micro- model making or construction. They are very well constructed and the numerical scale on them does not rub off with use. I’ve also used them to mark the placement of brackets on wood since the two sides are nearly identical widths.

Accurate but lightweight

I was hoping for something a little heavier. I have to press down a little too hard to keep it in place while using. Otherwise, it does the job and gets you a square corner.

Es una escuadra pequeña, versátil y práctica con un buen acabado, precisa en ambos sistemas de medición y bien cuadrada, que para mi gusto es lo más importante en una escuadra. Su mínimo grosor provoca que cuando la uso como guía de corte, la navaja se mueva debido a la fuerza aplicada y corte sobre ella; además, me parece que es la causa por la cual me llegó pandeada. Me gustaría que el sistema métrico también fuera impreso en el ángulo interno de la escuadra y no nada más en el externo.

Cheap

Totally shocked by the cheapness. I was expecting a small square for my hobby work, but didn’t expect it to be paper thin. I can’t believe I got suckered into paying $20 for this crap. Getting fed up of Amazon selling dollar store quality items for ten times the price!!

Great for miniatures

If you need a tiny carpenter’s square, this is your best option. It’s bit on the pricy side (the Zona triangle is about 40% cheaper) but for miniature builders, this is exactly what you need. Yes, it’s 1 ruler. It’s double-sided, which is great if you’re working at a 1:30.5 scale (1 foot = 1cm) because you get both imperial and metric, which makes scaling and conversions way easier. I bought this because I needed the accuracy of millimetres, and it didn’t disappoint.

Dollar Store Quality

This isn't a square, its a right-angle ruler from the dollar store. Flimsy and certainly not precise. 20 bucks? You gotta be the dumbest guy on earth to buy one (and not return it).

Only got 1

Paid for 2…..only got 1. I received the smaller one, which is very well made and perfect for what I want. It’s not worth my time complaining to get the second one, given the price point.
