Great pump!

This is the real deal. Plumber installed a cheaper grey water pump. I replaced it with this one and what a difference.

I always use Zoller pumps, both sump pump and sewage pump. current Zoller sewage pump died 15 years after service. Time to get this new one installed. No problems during the installation process.

I just finished reviewing the Zoeller Backflow preventer. So I figured I better share my experience with this ejector pump. I live in an old 1959 Mid Century home that is in serious need of TLC. (Looking forward to renovating it) Anyway, when I moved in I kept smelling a foul odor. Being a city dweller, I had never dealt with a Ejector pump before. So, being the nerd that I am I started researching pumps. I determined that Zoeller had the best reviews, reputation which was confirmed by a plumber that took a look at the old pump that literally sounded like an explosion whenever it removed the waste into the water main. My cats had a heart attack every time the old pump "went off". I think they're still traumatized. (And honestly, I think they're plotting to get me back). This pump is usually a bit more expensive than the "Plastic" models that cost around $100-200. But then again, the Zoeller is made of cast iron and normally lasts for about 30 years. So the water won't affect it like the puny plastic ejector pumps, and since it's cast iron, it will a much quieter. Whenever the pump starts I have to stop and actually try and listen for it to work. If you do get the Ejector pump, be sure to get the Zoeller backflow preventer. You won't regret it.

Overall Good Sewage Pump

It's a good pump. Very quite and good built. The only thing I don't like is the backward flow of water when the pump stops every time.

Horrible pump!

Horrible pump! I’ve replaced an old pump which has been working for 30 years with that Zoeller and automatic switch got broke in 2 weeks so pump would keep running while there was no water. Amazon sent a replacement and the second one stopped working even in shorter period . Need a replacement as again, but guess will pick another brand this time
