Powerful pump you won't find in your average hardware or plumbing supply store!

Very well built heavy duty cast iron pump. Install is easy if you have equipment to lower into place. Pump comes pre-wired with float switch and super length cords. I replaced the pump in septic holding tank which pumps liquid to above ground drainfield 400' away. I purchased 3/4 HP pump but realized after install 1/2 HP would have been more than adequate. Who knew.....

Best pump ever

Well, this pump pumped out an entire septic tank into barrels 53 feet away 21 feet vertically in under 20 minutes. And I’ve done this several times with it my hats off to Little Giants.

Easy install, Running as expected

It says it's a Sewer pump but it's not an Injection or Grinder pump.

I purchased this pump because it stated it could function as a sewer pump but it thought they meant a sewer Injection Pump. It is not an injection Pump or a grinder pump even though it states it can handle up to 2 inch semi solids, ect.

Check the tethered switch prior to install.

The tethered switch was defective. I had to go purchase another switch from Home Depot. Everything should be checked prior to shipping to make sure everything is working perfectly. Also, I noticed the body of the pump was showing rust forming on the pump right after install. The pumps should be treated really good with a preventative so this does not happen.

Leaked right out of the box.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this pump to discharge a drainage pit in my yard. I chose a grinder pump for their ability to handle silt and grass clippings without clogging. I selected this model over the the less expensive alternatives for the brand and reputation. The pump leaked between the main and lower body casing on first use. The video shows it leaking but it really fanned out from about half the diameter when the water was settled and clean. I did try to tighten the four casing bolts but it only helped a bit. My guess is a pinched o-ring. I am going to attempt to return it but even if they replace the pump, the height of my discharge line is going to require me to cut and glue new pipe. This obviously wasn't tested before it shipped.

little giant used to be the best of the best with honors but moved to china and mexico for production and are now just trash sad to see that in a brand that was top notch at one time
