Works well

I bought four of these for my back stairs. They have a nice glow, but would have been slightly nicer if the light was brighter. Your eyes need to adjust to the dark to see then, so they are hard to see when coming from the house. Once your eyes adjust to the dark, they are easily seen. Would recommend.

Great Lighting

This is the finest light of its type. Need outdoor lighting? Want it to light as you enter and walk along? Go out when you leave? This a great light. LED provides good lighting and allows the batteries to last a long time. This is not solar. Better, much better. The unique and unexpected quality is the light color--warm white. Very inviting. These are easy to install. I started with one and now have four.

Simple Night Light

It’s difficult to find a simple battery powered dusk-to-dawn light. Most everything available is solar powered. The problem with solar powered lights is that they aren’t very good in areas that have little direct sunlight, and the devices usually come with very low quality batteries that fail within a week or two. Battery powered only lights use standard batteries that last much longer. This light is not motion activated which I find to be desirable. A dusk-to-dawn light should provide a continuous warning in the darkness as well as light a path for travel, much like a lighthouse. Imagine the usefulness of a lighthouse that only lit when a ship approached the hazard. Lighthouses are used for warning and navigation and so is a dusk-to-dawn light. This product emits a very low level of white light. It’s actually difficult to determine if the light is on unless the area is totally dark. The housing is constructed of “cheap” type plastic, very thin. Not that anyone should expect much for this price range, however, there is at least one other product on Amazon that is of a better quality for a bit lower price.

Port-a-jon lights

I like this unit. We have two of them to mark our port-a-jon location, very handy at our star parties. Unlike solar lights, this unit will work in the shade. Plus a set of batteries will last couple years.

Works well. Put lithium batteries in it. People should note that this is a MARKER, not a light. It isn't supposed to light up your steps, just show where the post is.

very low lighting

I am glad I was not purchasing for my deck. I actually placed it on a dog house by the door. looks really good. however it hardly puts out any light. a glow at best

Nice marker lights. Always go on and off no problem.
