Super Easy Install

I was surprised AND impressed at how easy the installation was! For me, usually, nothing is easy. I had been using the Nexx Garage Door system until last week when they disabled the ability to connect to your wifi due to a security breach. Plus, I had already had issues with it no longer announcing when opened, closed OR left open. And—there were times the open/close graphic wasn’t matching the actual status of the door! Thus, I bought a camera to aim at the door so I could verify…for the peace of mind in knowing the door was closed. I finally decided, enough is enough, and purchased this Wyze product! The added camera is a great idea in having that peace of mind in seeing that your garage is indeed CLOSED! The HD clarity is excellent! Easy to open and close the garage. I just wish you didn’t have to navigate through the app in order to actually open and close the door versus having the actual controller as a shortcut or in the app or home page!

4 stars because I have to hold the button down to close it from the inside.

This was a great idea and it saved us from completely replacing our entire garage door system! We bought a house that the original openers wouldn’t connect and when we ordered new openers the “reset” button broke! I didn’t want to pay $200/$300 to buy something that just an opener was an issue so when I came across this my husband was excited! He’s an electrician so after looking at the specs we bought it and installed immediately! It’s perfectly priced, easy installation process and I love that I can send my family a share link so they can use it so they don’t have to remember our door code lol. I saw a review that it didn’t have an option for guest codes (and it does NOT) and I can understand if you have a business properties/guests but we are a big family and sharing this information through the app is so much easier than having to write down door codes for everyone. For those who might have an issue with this then don’t give access to those people ????????. Thank you Wyze for sharing your products!!

Works amazingly

I love the camera and the ability to monitors who goes in my garage it was easy to install. The only negative thing I have is the harness that connects to the motor is too short I wanted the camera closer to the back wall so I had to extend the wires to reach further back. Other than that it works great and I love the features and the ability to expand.

Great for what I need

Great for what the purpose is but I am not a fan that it has to work with a giant printed bar code picture that has to be taped on the garage. It would also be nice to have a live feed

Great... so long as your Internet is great.

Easy to set up, easy to integrate with Google (and probably Alexa as well), works very consistently and as a bonus it's a camera-based system so you can see the garage door and what's around it, if it's open/closed, etc. The only difficult part of the install was honestly figuring out where to plug the wires into my garage door openers, since I had a few cables coming out of it. Once I grabbed a paper clip and went with the ol' trial and error method though, I was good to go. Unfortunately(?) since it was easy enough, I can't speak to their tech support, but I've had a decent experience in the past. As of writing, it has rules you can set up where it will auto-close after you leave your house. Unfortunately the Internet access going down the hill away from my house isn't great. As far as I can tell, if I don't have Internet connectivity when I get to that magical distance, the garage will never close. Thankfully I'll get a notification that the garage door was left open, but it's still open until I get to my destination or whenever I look at my notifications next. If I go a different/longer path away from my house with more consistent Internet access, it closes on its own more consistently. It would be nice if it would detect that it can't reach the server and keep trying until it works instead of (seemingly) trying once and giving up. There's also (currently) no option to automatically open the garage when you get home. It could get annoying or even possibly have safety concerns but having the option would be nice. Still, thanks to the Google integration, I just ask Google to open whichever garage I want to open on the way back so that it's open when I get there. Minor gripes aside though, I like it a lot better than the MyQ system I previously had and I even ended up buying a second one for the second garage.

Cool addition to my Wyze collection

Easy install, works like a champ. Now when I come home on my bike, I don't have to climb off and hit the keypad. I whip out my phone and open the garage door just like I'm in the 21st century. Sister in laws over to feed the cats and they can't remember your garage code? No worries, just fire up the app and open the door for them! Cool gadget for an excellent price

Easy to install, works with my 2010 Chamberlain Liftmaster Pro

Easy to install, works with my 2010 Chamberlain Liftmaster Pro. Flawless wireless and video performance. I love the two way audio for mobile, even if if I'm only using it to mess with my kids. Good night vision My camera is one room away from my wireless access point, maybe around 20ft total distance. The camera is configured to use my slower 2.4GHz network for two reasons. The first is to reduce congestion in the 5Ghz Wi-Fi, the second is because 2.4GHz is the better signal for going through walls. I've love Wyze products, and this camera lives up to high standard I've come to expect with their stuff. I've had the camera over a year and I've never had to troubleshoot it, or even reset it.

When the OEM remote no work wyze does

Constantly had trouble with OEM garage door opener remote. I'm a big fan of wise products. Their cameras are awesome. Had a good price. Figured what the hay it does indeed work but I think it's kind of silly and a waste of the camera on it. I understand it's for safety I suppose but seems unnecessary and just a push on selling their cameras. But as a garage door opener it works as long as your device has good signal
