Lightweight but still capable; great for touch-ups or detail work

This has been the perfect trimmer for when I need to do a quick touch-up but don't want to get the full-size clippers out. It is very lightweight but still has enough power to get through foliage and thin stems when using the trimmer attachment. The clipper attachment has a bit more cutting ability, and works well when cutting down perennials, or for giving an edging trim for creeping evergreens. I don't use it for grass trimming (use a string trimmer for that) but I expect it would handle grass and weeds very well based on how it has performed with perennials. Swapping the blades is simple but keep in mind this is not a heavy-duty machine. If you take care when swapping blades there's no issue with anything breaking. It uses the same 20v battery as other Worx machines. I have a few of those, so I got this as the tool-only version. The ergonomics are very good -- this is way more comfortable to use than other similar mini clippers I've tried. It won't come close to replacing a full size hedge trimmer, but it's effortless to use and a very good option for light trimming.

Awesome must have!

Last year I used a pair of scissor clippers to trim down 10 beach grass plume plants, took me hours. I saw this and gave it a try since I have other Worx products and can use batteries with each. With this it took me 10 mins to trim them, what a time saver!

Absolutely perfect! I went from novice to pro in 2 minutes:)

Very easy to use, I trimmed a long piece of boxwood, cleaned up a small tree back into a ball and trimmed my lawn grass in a few very thick places. So far battery seems to last forever, the 2 attachments is all I need for the occasional yard trim. First time user of a trimming tool, no issues. This is definitely not a heavy duty tool fir thicker bushes or branches. Luv it!

Not compatible with Australian Worx batteries

The US uses different worx batteries to Australian Worx batteries. Worx 20v batteries purchased in Australia will not fit this item, DO NOT PURCHASE. Worx should not be sending this to Australia and at worst should have a disclaimer. Why different batteries???????

Facile d'utilisation

Utilisé pour couper les mauvaises herbes là où on ne peut utiliser une tondeuse ou un trimmer. Le poids n'est pas handicapant. Le taille haie n'est pas assez puissant même avec une batterie de 4.0Amp .Par contre le sécateur fonctionne très bien sur l'herbe . Utilisez une batterie de 4.0Amp ,donne plus de puissance.

If buying - look for sales

I got it “opened box” from Amazon for half price. And for that money it’s a steal. Did a good job on trimming some shrubs (little twigs, bigger branches had to be cut with shears). The small trimmer blade is good for grass and smaller things. AND its not too quick, nor heavy, so it’s a great tool for kids to learn to use in gardening.

poorly designed and constructed

this trimmer is very cheaply constructed. the blades interchange but are held in place by a very flimsy plastic clip. Comes apart at the slightest pressure. Had to replace it with with model WG261.9 after only a month of use.
