Not a strong smell

An environmentally conscious product from start to finish

I love WoodWick candles, but my complaint in the past is that sometimes if I light one in my small office, it's so overpowering that I have to snuff it out to prevent a headache. This scent is light enough to work very well in my office space. I like the container design and a cork lid that can be used as a pad to set the candle on when burning. The slight indentation on the top is the perfect resting place. The container is made of repurposed materials, which is nice for the environmentally conscious. I’m curious about which materials in the candle itself are upcycled. It refers to this on the product. Perhaps the wick? Perhaps it’s just the container? The container itself can be reused for a plant holder after the candle is gone. The label can be removed. I've noticed this isn't as crackly as the other WoodWick candles. It happens to be what I like about the ambiance a crackling candle offers where there is no fireplace to light. However, this one is pretty quiet, so I don't get that experience. The candle melts evenly and doesn't leave any unmelted wax at the edges. Burns clean and even. This is a nice size for gifting. I’m not as much of a fan of the cherry vanilla. It smells a bit like a cheap plug-in air freshener. I love one of the other scents, but this one isn’t my favorite.

Beautiful, great smelling candle

I love lighting a candle either in my guest bathroom or in my home office to lift my mood. I really love the wood wick on this as you don't have to trim it in the same way you do with other candles. When it's first lit it also gives off a small but comforting crackle which I also love. The fragrance was really nice and I didn't find it to be overpowering at all. Floral fragrances can really be hit or miss for me but this one was very nice, soft, and pleasant. This candle burned cleanly and evenly but maybe a little fast due to the size of the wick. I did knock it a star because once I hit about halfway through the candle, it became really difficult to light and wouldn't stay lit no matter what I tried which was disappointing. I think my last attempt finally stayed lit but it took 4-5 tries at least because it would just spontaneously go out on its own. I do really like this candle and also appreciate that it comes with a lid which helps with storage too. Maybe the wick on this one was a one-off. Besides that, I really liked the candle itself.

Great smelling candle

I'm a huge fan of Yankee Candle and have a huge collection of their standard glass jar candles. I've never purchased any of the WoodWick line before, so was trilled to have an opportunity to try it. The first day I tried out this candle, I woke up in the morning and could still detect cooking smells in the house from the day before. I lit this candle and went into my home office to work. I love the look of the wick as it's buring. It reminds me of a small campfire. The wick burns in a nice triangle shape. An hour later I came back out to the great room and the cooking smells were gone and the room smelled wonderfully of cherry blossom with a hint of vanilla. It's a very pleasant scent, slightly fruity and sweet, with vanilla undertones. I did deduct one star, because the candle has trouble lighting after the initial burn. The following day I lit the candle and checked on it a few minutes later and it had gone out. I lit it again and watched it, it went out again in a few seconds. The third time it seemed to finally catch and it stayed lit. I looked for some intruction for care and use and couldn't find anything, so I'm not sure if it's something I did wrong, or if it's just the nature of this style of wick.

Love it!

This candle smells so good! It smells mostly like cherry. There are 4 wicks in the middle of the candle that helps to burn the candle evenly. I like that this candle is made of soy blend so it’s healthier for you to burn. The scent when you burn it smells great. I wouldn’t say it’s super strong but if I walk away from the room and come back, you can still smell it. I would recommend it.

Smells great, covers smaller area

It does smell awesome, I love this gender neutral scent and really cozy feeling from it, looks like Yankee candle company so quality is very decent. Covered small area so I wouldn’t get it for large living room for example. No price point bites most definitely, on a good day with large sale I can score 2 3-wick candle from B&BW that will last awhile and cover large areas. So I’m happy I got to try it but from money stand point it’s just not very affordable for family like mine who is in the budget.

Nice gentle fragrance

Being asthmatic, really strong fragrant candles can cause an episode. With this scent, soy wax, and the wood wick, it makes it so much enjoyable to be able to use candles again. I have always loved candles but my asthma, not so much. I smell mainly the cherry to it with the slightest hint of the vanilla. It burns pretty evenly with the way the wood wick is crossed. It does come with a nice wooden lid. Comes nicely secured. 17$ is a bit for a 6oz candle, so probably won't be a frequent purchase.

Smells nice and long burning

This candle smells amazing, and I really wish it was stronger when it burns. It doesn't really fill the house, but will fill a small room. It's long burning, and wears down evenly. It's very well packaged, and nothing was damaged. Would make a lovely gift for a candle fan.
