I'm all "ears" like ears of corn...
We love this! The kids (and wife) get a huge kick out of watching the little guys go to town on their goodies. It's easy to set up needing only a single screw to attach it. The only issue I've had is the screw that comes with it to attach to the tree physically broke off in the tree and the feeder came tumbling down. Idk if it was a fluke or if our squirrel is just too fat. But I replaced it with a new one and we've no issues since.

This picnic table for squirrels is almost too cute for words. Let's face it, it's a hard-knock life for most squirrels. Luckily, some of us appreciate their endlessly amusing antics and love feeding them, watching them, and even photographing them. So why not provide them with their own picnic table?! PROS: It is sturdy and made of real wood in the USA. (imagine that, some things are still made here!) It's safe and functional for the animals, AND fun for the humans. Our squirrels have gone through several ears of corn in a short time and we've already had our first successful photo shoot. CONS: The picnic seats could be more comfortable if they were an inch or two longer. I suppose a longer piece of wood could be glued or nailed to the existing seats. TIP: We put ours on a tree just high enough so it's out of reach of the little kids in the neighborhood, but low enough for the tallest person in our house to change the ears of corn without climbing on a ladder. I purchased this feeder from Amazon as a Father's Day gift, but the father of the house isn't the only one enjoying the show. It would be an amusing gift to give that nature-lover who has everything, as well as an economical and fun gift to give your family (let them watch the squirrels picnic for a change, instead of always watching TV or a computer screen), or the light-hearted person on your list who enjoys a bit of whimsy. It's hard to imagine anyone not enjoying this gift.

Nuts about Squirrels? You'll be Nuts About This Feeder, Too!
I have some "squirrely friends" who take great pleasure in watching the squirrels feeding in their yard. When I found this item via a general Amazon search, I immediately knew it was the perfect gift for them. When mounted to the tree in their back yard, the squirrel feeding activity will be easily viewed from their family room. This is a good, sturdy wood product, pre-assembled, with tree mounting screws in a small bag attached to the underside of the table, easily detachable. Another reviewer mentioned the "Made in USA" sticker adhered to the top of the picnic table. While we're all proud of quality items still being made in the USA, it really would be advisable for the manufacturer to place this sticker elsewhere. I'm hoping that, when my friends remove it, the frustration won't detract from the cleverness of this item. A word of advice to those ordering this item as a gift: Order it by itself, and not as part of a "multi-order" which might include several unrelated items shipped in a large box. This little table does not come in its own gift box, and, due to the size of the vertical "backboard" picturing a squirrel, is an unexpected challenge to fit easily into most standard small boxes. However, if you order it by itself, Amazon will have done the "gift box fitting" work for you :-)

A cute and nice device to hold corn cobs and corn meal for squirrels
Very nice little device to put corncobs and corn feed on for squirrels. We have some oak trees in our front yard and the squirrels have taken to cutting off the outer 4-8 inches of the branches...something that they have never done before. The acorns have just started maturing in the past week and this behavior has been going on for 3-4 weeks. I don't know if their biological clock is off or not, but put this up to draw them away from the tree leaves. It seems to have worked. We don't feed the birds in the front yard, but I think this would be an excellent way to keep Mr & Mrs Squirrel away from your bird feeder. Corn cobs don't last very long and have to be replaced as often as 3 times a day. They have a large corn meal chunk that is good and I have had one up for over a week and they are still working on it. Give that a try if you find you are going through too many corn cobs. This is a little expensive, but nice.

So cute!
This is the cutest little squirrel feeder! I bought it more as a conversation piece. I have used the cheapy corn cobs and the squirrels enjoy eating them and look so cute sitting on the benches. It's very sturdy and well-built. You do need to change the corn cobs frequently but it's a good sign they enjoy them. I've had this for several months and would suggest when you get it to dab some super glue on the head of the screw under the table top - the one you stick the corn cob on. Mine got a bit loose after a few months and became a pain to get the cob on without twisting the screw along with with the cob. Also, the picnic table top part that is attached to the piece that attaches to the tree came loose (under the squirrel picture), so I'd dab some glue on those screw heads as well to avoid that. The piece has held up really well overall and I still love it - so do the squirrels!

Great gift for any squirrel lover
Got this for my father in law who loves squirrels and feeding them. It’s so cute watching them sit at the table and eat their corn. The cat also enjoys watching from the covered porch and to try to harass them. Great gift for any squirrel lover !

Unexpected hit for whole family
I thought this would be a better gift idea than actual functional gift but 100% wrong- the squirrels sit on the benches while eating and charm the dickens out of my wife and young grandkids. Seems to be sturdy enough and I used it as a painting project the 3 and 5 yr old kids could do. With the paint I think it will last a long time. It comes with mounting screws. I mounted a couple feet down from top of backyard fence but it should be lower because many squirrels prefer reaching down from top of fence rather than sitting on the seat to eat. Squirrels waste a lot of the food but by restricting frequency of replacing corncob they waste less and I plan to build a simple shelf below to help control the waste.

I love this little picnic table! I attached it to a post and I wrote squirrel picnic area on it. Squirrels actually sit at the table as you see In the above photo! Makes me smile every time I look out the window and see them enjoying it!
