Quality made; sturdy
I’ll review again in a year to update you on how it lasts & how the birds like it, but I like it so far. Real wood (unlike other brands that use fake stuff that falls apart fast), hanger is good metal (unlike other brands with rope), has good deck screws, & looks to be a good sturdy design. Holds 4 pounds of dry food and 2 suets well. It was easy to take apart to paint it & easy to put back together as long as you kept and reused the little staples that hold the suet containers in place. We wanted it to look like a mini version of our house :) Bought an eye bolt and “s” hook to hang it. Just put it up tonight outside our dining room window on our detached garage! So excited. Hoping to see chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and a few other Alaskan birds ????

Erase previous review. This was the feeder that lasted for years!
Had to replace this feeder after three years. It was too small For All The birds I have. Replacement broke in 3 weeks.

Not water tight
The 2 roof pieces are joined at the ridge by a piano hinge. This hinge is an inch short of covering the seed bin so rain water will enter the seed bin on each end. I also suspect that the hinge in not rain proof. I ran a piece of heavy duty tape inside the roof to cover the hinge and the open spaces to hopefully keep the rain out. I also added a small hook to hold the roof closed during high wind. I added the metal around the bottom to keep the squirrels from climbing the pole and entering from the bottom of the feeder.

SO many bird friends
I had another, smaller feeder at first, and I decided that I needed more birds in my life. So I bought this one. It took a few weeks for it to really take off, because I could tell the sparrows had a hard time landing on the small ledge. It got plenty of finch action, which is cool, because I really like the finches, they're smart and totally the dominant species out there. Even though they're smaller than all the other birds, they're the boss, they'll chase other birds away, and they'll hang out on the feeder even if we're standing right near it. They're fearless. Anyway, I digress. So once the sparrows learned how to land on the narrow ledge, it was game on. It's not unusual to have up to 8 birds on this feeder at the same time. A good amount of seed falls to the ground because of the large amount of activity, so now I have squirrels and mourning doves cleaning up the ground underneath the feeder. I'll come home to a Disney movie on my front porch. It's magical. I also keep a suet cake in one of the little cages in the front. The other day, I came home to a sparrow with its head stuck in one of the suet holder bars. It didn't take much for me to help free it. I was worried that they were going to be traumatized from their buddy getting stuck in it, but they were back in full force within 10 minutes. I moved the suet cake so it was more easily accessible, and it was completely gone by the next day. But maybe keep an eye on it, in case any bird buddies get their little noggins stuck in the bars. Also, I have had a couple of hawks land ON OUR PORCH (in a crowded apartment complex) because of all the bird activity. This may sound awful, but it's like i have a DOUBLE BIRD FEEDER. The food chain happens on my porch, and I gotta say, I'm into it. To sum it up: if you like birds, and you wanna see a LOT of birds, ALL the time, this is the feeder to get.

NOT Made in USA - Made in China
The photo is misleading and deceptive. The birdhouse comes with a label that clearly states it's made in China, and it doesn't have the company name on the side. So either this is a knockoff using another company's photo, or the US company is now having these made in China. I was expecting to be purchasing a product made in the USA. That being said, it does appear to be good quality. It was all in one piece and feels sturdy, but I did have to push the plastic sheets into the wooden grooves. I also had to work to make the ends of the hanger stay inside the house and not be able to slip easily out. The end cages are sturdy and secure. It took a few days for the wild birds to begin using it after having only a circular feeder, but they seem to be finally getting used to it. It's nice because I don't have to fill it up as often as my smaller feeder. I especially like being able to place the suet blocks into the side cages, which is much better than the one I had hanging by itself. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far. I've had it for just over a week.

Finches Getting Stuck
I don’t know how they are getting in, but I have rescued 4 house finches trapped inside the feeder. Thankfully I check the feeder daily or this review would have had a sad ending. Is anyone else having this issue?

Very Nice Feeder, But...
I have purchased these in the past and they are well made. The wood is good quality. They are really easy to fill with the lift up lid!! The exception this time is the suet holders (reason for a 4 star rating). These are slightly smaller now so they will not hold a cake of suet. You have to break it in half. Disappointing. My other comment would be that I wish they could use a heavier grade wire for hanging. I do have large birds and squirrels so the first thing to go is the wire. The swinging motion and weight of the critters eventually snaps the wire which is not easily replaced.

AT4 bird feeder review
It arrived far earlier than expected. It is excellent quality built of cedar, and I expect to get many years out of it.Very satisfied.

Not a good design for a feeder
Product has the perch for birds waay too far under the roof and it is too upright for birds to fly in and eat. I have had other bird feeders that the perch is further out and angled outward so that birds can easily stop in for some seed. Plus this was missing one of the plexi-glass sides and when contacting the company they said they won't send a replacement part to me because I live in Canada, while all the while I live in Canada and got the item in the first place.

Not as Advertised
This bird feeder was not as advertised. It was NOT made in the USA. It was poorly put together. One of the acrylic panels was cracked. When we contacted the company, they told us they don't ship replacement parts to Canada because they have had problems with the items arriving there.

Best bird feeder
This is a well made product and sturdy enough to last for some years. It is hard to find a good bird feeder in store not to mention on line but this one appears to be the real thing.
