Favored over my slew of "slow cookers."
I kept putting this purchase off but grab this one from Amazon's "used - good condition" returns. LOVE IT. I use this more than anything and I tend to do a lot of slow cooker meals. I have a large assortment of slow cookers, but this is really my favorite. Love the cover, the griddle, and the carrying case (which I've never used). Amazon makes everyone's life so much better. Amazon makes the world better and there is no greater customer service on the planet! Thanks Amazon!

Love it!
This crackpot is great! Big enough to put your meat on the bottom and wedged potatoes on top, with cabbage on top of that! And mine doesn't make the clicking noise like others have complained about. Love the plastic lid and the travel case will be great to bring something to a gathering! Good buy, highly recommend!

Thermostat clicks
I've had 3 of these cookers and was very satisfied with them. This one when its cooking the thermostat clicks every time the heat comes on and goes off. Very loudly by the way. I would have returned it but i threw away the packaging. Guess i will have to put up with the noise.

Very Versatile!
Had a previous model just used it to death! No air fryer or instant pot in this house we are slow cooker folks. LOVE this product. This model is larger than the previous model. I especially like that I can use the pot right on my propane stove top as well - so it has more than one use for sure. This model comes with a "griddle" option which I doubt we will use but nice feature. Easy to clean and so many uses. Great value and we would not hesitate to recommend this product or purchase again if needed.

I like it a lot.
How do I give all 5s in the subcategories, but a 4 star review? It is a pretty big container, which is great. It not only has low and high temps, but also medium. The base is also a small griddle, which is awesome and easy to clean. The reason I dropped it a star is that the base has a clicking noise when the slow cooker is running. It is a little annoying. Overall, I really like it. Even w the clicking, I would recommend to all.

Teflon surface coming off Westbend 87906B slow cooker
I have had this product in the past and lasted many years with numerous uses. However, the one I bought from Amazon has the teflon coming off it with approx 1 years worth of minimal use. There is visible signs of underlying rust where the teflon is coming off. Buyer be ware!!

Just the right size
I love this cooker as it's just the right size for my family. Cooks great and goes from the base to the stove for making gravy. This is actually the 3rd one I have had and will keep buying them as long as they are made. Edited after a few uses…the pot started to rust and the finish is lifting. The pots on the first 2 I had lasted longer than the base. I’ll think twice about getting another one!

If you want to make it last
Do not put it in the dishwasher and do not abuse the non stick coating by using hard scouring pad to clean the inside. Overall it good try not to use the base on extreme high temp. to saute veg or browning the meat inside the pan. That may effect the coating.
