Great for toning green out
Let me just start off by saying I'm a complete noob when it comes to dyeing and coloring my hair. I had decided I was going to do a simple color of half blue and half natural bangs and after bleaching it came out fairly yellow-orange, and despite being an artist I had completely forgotten that mixing yellow and blue make green! I remembered my color theory and decided to go for this pink toner to get the green out and it worked fantastically!

Ice, ice, baby! (I know, lacks imagination).
This toner is beautiful! So icy! Package says to use only Wella Charm 10 volume as developer. I used a 6 volume demi-developer to decrease incidents of damage, and the color was beautiful! Fun facts: if you don't have any yellow/gold tones in your hair, this toner will pull the steely grey/ash tones. If you have stubborn yellow stains in your hair that cannot be removed chemically, this will not remove them, though they will be a beautiful, shiny, pale gold. Remember that this is a level 10 toner, it does not lighten existing tones, but rather improves them. If your hair is darker than a level 9.5 or 10 (if you don't know what that is, you shouldn't be coloring your own hair), this product will have little to no effect on your hair and you'll be writing an angry review that says it does not work. Hair must be previously lightened to a level 9.5/10 (see lifted color scale) if you want a tone resembling the ad. Its not magic, it's toner. Beautiful toner.

Pretty color
Did not last long, I used it on pale bleached blonde hair. I also use non phosphate shampoo. Wish it would last longer.

Exactly what I wanted
I mixed the Polar Ice with the Lavender. It not only took all the yellow tones out, but it gave the slightest hue of pale purple.

Short lasting
I LOVED the color, absolutely spot on, EXACTLY what I had been searching for and craving. Unfortunately it lasted only 3 washes, and I use a color safe shampoo/conditioner. Definitely lost tone after the first wash but it still looked good, after the second wash my hair just looked meh, and after today’s third was I need a re-tone :(

Not lavender
This toned my bleached blonde highlights a nice ashy blonde. It also toned the rest of my hair which is light brown a pretty ash dark blonde/brown. That being said not a smidgen of lavender which is what I was looking for at least for the highlights. The smell is not strong and doesn't stay in my hair which I liked. Over all I'm happy all the brassy is gone and my highlights look nicely blended with the rest of my hair.
