DIY highlights

Amazon has been a lifesaver when it comes to finding products that work for all my maintenance needs, such as hair, skin, nails, etc. I am a DIY-er because I love to save money and because I’m in the middle of nowhere. The closest big chain retail store is approx. 2.5 hours from me. So, it’s not always convenient to run out to Sally’s Beauty Supply and grab some bleach to touch up my highlights. I have naturally dark brown hair and I try to go 1-2 times a year to my stylist. The Wella bleach packet comes in so handy when I need a little touch up between my appointments. I did have to use 2 packets (separately) because I did not reach the level of blonde/brightness I wanted. I have shoulder length hair and one packet was plenty for a full head of highlights.

Worked great, but only received one of the two powder hair

Worked great, but only received one of the two powder hair I ordered, so that's why I am puting a 4 star review and not 5.

Works well and no burn

Good product. Have short hair so gets on scalp. No burn and it did a great job!

A little pricey but not that bad

It was okay, I’d say this is a little more for someone with experience in bleaching but can be a good beginners, the strength is not bad.

No damage to hair!

I bleached a streak into my box coloured black hair. I used a different bleach powder the first time and it destroyed my hair. I had so much breakage it was devastating. I wanted to add a bit more hair to the streak so I tried this bleach powder with 30vol and I have literally NO damage to my hair. It lifted a decent amount of the black dye out and left my hair a reddish brown.

Did work but I did not get the color lightened as much as I wanted.

The product does work quite well, I just didn't get it as light as I was wanting. But I suggest something larger size if you have hair to the middle of your back or longer. This size was not enough for hair to the middle of my back.

1 pack not 2

The pictures makes you think you’re getting 2 packets.... you only get 1. Super disappointed when I opened my package.

Cheaper in store !!!

It does what it is supposed to do BUT I found the exact same product for 3.99 a packet. I paid in total $21 for two packets and than $7.81 at a beauty supply for the same amount

Photo is majorly deceiving!!

I love this brand, it's always my go to for bleach, but I thought I was getting a deal, two for $5 and change, as I usually pay 3 something for one, but the picture is deceiving. Bought two orders of it, hoping to get four but it's only One! you only get one for almost $6. I won't be making that mistake twice!

Literally says 2oz but you only get 1oz!!

I mean they show two packets equating to 2oz, even in the description it says 2oz. So its not like we are reading it wrong. It is indeed false advertising and needs to be changed asap. The bleach itself is great. I've used it for years. But I can find a single packet at the store for about 3.79-3.99.

Not enough for all my hair

The bleach is great it lifted my hair so nicely and I didn’t even bother toning it. But just know that 2 packages of bleach will definitely not be enough to do a whole head of hair, unless you have very short hair. but besides that great product just a bit more money than i thought.
