Works great

Fast delivery and perfect fit for my old 1976 travel trailer

Easy to use

First vent cover to replace and so far so good. I'm not sure where the screws were with my package as the package was open. But I used the previous vents screws instead and that worked out even though it didn't match the locations. Just use more sealant. I don't know the durability yet, which seems like an unfair question to ask when you just installed it. My rv has metal vent covers as well and they have been good for 21 years. That is durability!

Exact match to the original

This replacement vent was an exact match to the original one, which made installation relatively easy. Removing the old vent and the associated caulk was the hardest part of the job. The location of the vent on the trailer is close to the side edge where the roof begins to curve. The original vent base and this replacement have enough flexibility to match the curve which allowed it to fit very well. Also the screw holes on the new vent aligned perfectly with the original vent.

If you need just the cap, this works!

For our travel trailer (05 Rockwood Roo) we only needed to replace the vent caps so after shopping around and finding out that you had to buy the whole kit, we decided to try these due to the price and reviews. I was happy to find that these were able to carefully be separated into 2 pieces and I was able to install just the cap on what we already had installed on the roof of our RV. They fit perfectly, look great, and took no time at all to do. So if you just need the "cap", this item will work!!!!

Replacement vent cap for camper

Item as described by seller. Cap is white, NOT off white. I only needed the cap portion, not the entire base but I couldn’t find just the cap for sale anywhere. I had to trim about a quarter inch off of the screw post in order to get it to fit properly on the old base but that wasn’t to hard and the results were fine.

Nice product, but not a complete kit like I expected

I purchased 1 for my camper and while I was up there, I noticed that I needed another on. The 1st order couldn't be duplicated in time for me to fix my camper before the rain, so I ordered this from this vendor. It is durable and quality made. My only gripe is that it doesn't come with weather sealant or screws like my 1st one did, so I still wasn't able to install it in time.
