Easy to use

Smaller version that works as well as the larger version. Vet workers love this type of crate as it is so easy to remove the animals. Slide the draw out, remove pet and slide the drawer back in. As instructed be sure tighten the wing nuts periodically and always check them before using.

Our vet loves it, but hard to slide closed

The only way to close this is to slide it shut. Our cat is hard to get into any carrier, but this one was even harder because it does not slide shut easily. Our vet loved being able to just pull the slide out and do the exam while he sat in the carrier. I think it made him feel safer to be in there during the exam.

Such a Nice Carrier and Makes Vet Visits Way Easier!

This carrier is great for some of my crankier kitties when we go to the vet! It makes it so much easier to get them out, but still allows them a safe space to 'hide' during the exam. It fits perfectly behind my passenger seat as well which is SO nice. My only concern is it is a bit difficult to open and close when you ge to the clasp but its postivites outweigh that by 100%. Love this carrier and will definitely be buying again.

Love the design. Could be sturdier. I dont trust the handle but love that you can pull it out and not have to drag cat out.

One major flaw.

The media could not be loaded. Would have given this 5 stars, but for the handle design. It is held on by tiny tabs, which is unfortunate because the rest of the design seems well-made. The handles easily detach, making it perilous for you pet, especially if it is a heavier animal. I ended up keeping it and added screws to the handle to hold it in place.

Terrible

So this carrier is intended to not stress out the cat, but you are also not supposed to use the door when it pulls out and somehow stick the cat between the door and the carrier. Also if the cat is angry good luck not being murdered. I returned it. It took way too long to put it together once the cat was int it

Sturdy and easy to assemble!

This is a must for skiddish or difficult cats! So easy to assemble; just make sure the blue backer and the gate both SNAP into the bottom of the 'floor' of the carrier. It says it in the directions, but you do have to give it some elbow grease. Virtually stress free for my fluffy torti girl!

Gate design needs more work

I liked the concept behind this cat carrier and was really hoping it would make trips to the vet easier. Unfortunately that has not been my experience. The gate is very tricky to apply. You need to align it just-so and apply a fair amount of force to the spring coils as you push the lower tray into position to lock the gate in place. This was impossible for me to coordinate as my cat attempts to escape from the carrier. So now it functions like a little box in the corner of the room that my cat occasionally hangs out in. She seems comfortable in it with the gate off. This carrier may work if you have a docile, calm cat that loves vet visits. But it was a waste of money for me. I would not recommend it for nervous or anxious cats. Other potential concerns are around the sturdiness of the design. The plastic is softer or less rigid than other cat carriers I had in the past so I don't know how durable it is. The top and bottom pieces are held together by 4 screws so you probably need to check to ensure there is no loosening with use.

Highest quality awesome

Highest quality I am so impressed. It’s amazing it’s made in the USA. It’s made highest quality. I’m so impressed. I bought two of them for my two pets. They love it. It’s amazing it’s lights out there. Not stressed out when I take them to the vet. It’s just unbelievable, I purchased it for 49.99, I thought that was an amazing price considering I’ve seen it go for between 85 and $120 at the pet stores here in Canada. Now I see these negative reviews and lies from other purchasers. I figure there’s sellers trying to sell their own pet carriers and they noticed that this one is just so unique and awesome. Whoever invented this is a genius like I said I purchased two of them and I couldn’t be happier. I recommend this to everyone love it.

I have one cat that fights like the dickens to get him into a carrier (picture all 4 sets of claws on the door frame) and another that I can't get OUT of the thing at the vets without traumatizing him. I'm always afraid of hurting them, or at least making the experience more stressful than necessary. This solves both problems very nicely. I thought they'd still freak when I tried to push the bottom portion in, but the really don't. I think it just doesn't feel as forced. Combine that with some treat training, and travel is now a lot more pleasant for all.

Perfect for our puppy

Slides all the way out so he has a bed when traveling. Easy to put him in and out off. So happy with this purchase!
