Excellent frostproof hose bibb.
Replaced a 30-year-old hose bibb that had corroded to pieces. This one is made much better. It's also a bit different; rather than a couple of full turns to open, this opens in about a half a turn. And the old one occasionally started buzzing as the flow through it rattled the valve inside, but this one has been nothing but silent. I really like it, might have to buy a couple more to replace my other aging hose bibbs.

Be careful with sizing...
The diagram for a "10-inch valve" shows the main portion of the valve body to be 10" long. While it doesn't show the additional length from the end of the smooth pipe to the tip of the threads (thereby allowing customers to determine the overall length), based on the photo of the 4" valve, one could deduce that the end portion is about 2" long. Well, it's not. The 10" valve body is only 9" long. And the valve seat/threaded portion is actually 2.5" long - making the overall length of the 10" valve (from flange to end of threads) 11.5". Why does that matter? My wall is 12" thick, and because I didn't want 2" of additional pipe sticking out into my basement, I opted for the 10" valve, figuring I'd just clear the inside hole with 12". Since the 10" section is actually only 9", I came up short. I was able to rectify this by making the hole larger and angling the tubing into the wall. It works, but it is not ideal. The valve quality is good, and the stem only has to be turned about 2 full turns from completely open to closed. I am not dissatisfied with the valve, but I do wish the drawings in the listing were more accurate. To the seller: Please update your photos with the correct dimensions - ideally showing the complete/overall length from flange to tip of threaded end.

Overall pretty decent design for functionality...though the mounting tabs need a rework
So far, so good and I love not having to use the indoor shutoff in winter. I also appreciate that this model does NOT have the plastic vacuum breaker parts (surely destined to break and leak) and I hope the all-metal construction holds up. Only drawback is the mounting flange is way too small/narrow. Depending on the substrate (mine was concrete/brick) drilling the hole needed for the main pipe compromises the surrounding material a fair bit. With the mounting tabs so close to the pipe/hole, there is very little good material left over to anchor to. I spent well over half the install time working around that issue. And good luck trying to angle the fasteners inward or outward as there will be interference from either the pipe or the exterior spigot.

Awsome so far just make sure to tilt it down slightly so water can drain when shut off
Works perfect so far. It is currently going through its first winter at my house. I previously had 2 normal spouts burst do to ice(my own fault I forgot to drain hose and shut off water in basement leading to faucet before first freeze) this works perfect I don't have to shut off my connection in my basement during winter now and have water access even during winter without a bunch of hassle now. TIP if you install your self then make sure it is tilted slightly down to the outside so when the water is shut off it can drain all the water and not sit in the pipe and freeze and crack inside the basement..

Good product for the price.
The faucet serves me well where I am using it. I use it to water flowers around my deck and also to wash my car. If you need a greater flow of water I would suggest going to the 3/4 inch hydrant which I have at the front of my house. It will fill a pail a lot quicker. I agree with other reviews that the plate the screws go through could have been a little wider. I also had to use washers to get the screws to hold onto plate. Over all I have been pleased with the faucet.

No vacuum break / anti siphon valve to leak
Old one started leak at vacuum break, and this feeds hot water to garage sink.( A MESS ). No future problem expected with this one. BUT no flats to fit a wrench on, only one short peg sticking out. So will have to use pipe wrench to install in a difficult place to reach in the basement

Great Product
this 4" sillcock replaced a 6" one. what are we talking about? ;-) This worked perfectly after 2" inches added after I fixed what the plumber screwed up. why don't plumbers do the job right the first time? put the damn shutoff valve in and the female threaded respectable at the end of cold water pipe. So you can replace this thing easily! that being said. THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT!

Works well, but it's longer than 8"
I'm SICK of using faucets with vacuum breakers on them. They leak water down the side of my house, and seem to have a mind of their own. Some work for a little while, then become a pain. I installed this brand of faucet, and I no longer have leaks, it's quieter in the house with the water faucet fully opened, and has way more flow than my last vacuum breaker faucet. My sprinkler shoots up to 10 feet further now. **The only thing that really irritated me about this faucet is that it isn't 8". It was .5-1" longer than a standard 8" faucet, so I was forced to make a wooden plywood spacer to accommodate it in the house wall.
