Perfect solution to my shop and trailer needs. While this is a tool designed for pulling a release pin on the 5th wheel of tractor-trailer trucks, I find it very handy about the shop and with my small utility and cargo trailers. No 5th wheels here. I have bad knees and it's hard to get down on them. I can use it to pull wheel chocks out, retrieve parts under the trailer, etc. I'd love to see one with a rare earth magnet attached. Meanwhile I'll try to epoxy one on. Love it! Gotta get another one.

Perfect for trucking

I'm OTR and this is the best 5th wheel puller I've ever seen. It's long. It has a smooth chrome finish that stays clean.

Heavier than expected, Thankfully!!

I drive a fuel tanker delivering gas products to stations. A tool like this is extremely helpful opening lids to the tanks, especially those that are in deeper wells. I’m not a spring chicken anymore and getting down on my knees and then back up is not as easy as it was years ago. This tool is a definite keeper!!

Nice pullers

The only thing that should change is the direction of the hook. It should be going the same direction as the handle to make it a vertical pull instead of horizontal.

Durable and lightweight

Gets the job done. A lot lighter than what I had before but still sturdy. Fifth wheel grease wipes off easily.

Solid piece.

I should have invested in this tool years ago. Makes releasing the 5th wheel lever on semi trucks a breeze. No more straining to reach underneath the trailer, and wheel well and possibly getting grease on your shoulder. 10/10 recommend.

Not too heavy

After going throught two aluminum pin pullers, I've decided to go with the steel one and boy this one is the real deal. Not too long and feels very solid. I do a lot of switching trailers on my job and constantly using it, and so far it is holding up and also looks very sleek in chrome.
