Still looking

It doesn't have the 'de-frizz' properties my hair is needing. Although the scent is mild and fine, it didn't do much to define my curls (thick naturally curly hair).

Best thing ever for frizz

I’ve been searching for over a decade for products to tame my frizzy mane and by Jove here it is! I have 3B curly hair but it’s very thin and fine, and I’ve tried Herbal Essences and Garnier and other fruit and sweet smelling mousses. I’ve tried a few curly-hair specific gels but my hair is gets crunchy and they always exacerbate my dandruff. I’ve tried a few leave-in conditioners and even used lotion, which help in the winter when it’s dry but when frizz season kicks in my hair is a wild mess! I’ve tried so many different things and I sort of just got to the point where I “Wash, Put, Pray” and accept my good or bad hair day. Usually it was just “meh” though. I then came across a video on Facebook where I saw the model with hair like mine use leave-in conditioner, Durex lube (I know right? But it’s mostly just water so I get it), and hair gel. I went and ordered all 3 of those things, and picked this for the gel. My life has changed. This gel does get a little crunchy on the top, but that’s because I’m a little heavy handed at that spot. But I don’t get an itchy scalp. And oh my god are my curls formed into perfect little ringlets and so soft! I’ve tried using JUST the gel (no leave in or lube) and the results are still the same, if not better! And the next day I can get away with just light combing because the ringlets are still intact (I don’t sleep with a silk or satin pillowcase/head covering because I’m allergic to those materials UGH)! I’ve had so many good hair days with this and I never have to use expensive frizz serum. I will continue to buy and use this gel and will look into other products too! Do yourself a favor- buy this and never look back!

It’s okay

This is okay but does leave my hair a bit crunch. I thought it would be more lightweight with no crunch. I’m not sure that even exists in a gel for curly hair. Cream is about the only thing that seems to work in my hair (hold curl with no crunch). I’ve tried using a little less but then it’s just not enough for my hair to hold the curl if I do that.

yes!

I have grey curly hair that is as dry as straw and absorbs nothing. Products either dry it further or make it look like a grease bomb and on top of that scents give me migraines. This gel is nice and thick and you get a cast which you can crunch out and have good curl definition. I am sensitive to scents but this one is OK because you smell it right when you put it on your hair but it disappears immediately. It is a little hard to get out of the bottle a pump would be nice.

Great for fine wavy hair. Great smell.

Great product for anyone with fine wavy or curly hair. I add this to my hair at the end of my routine in the shower and mix it with a bit of water and it does not weigh down my waves. This product is curly girl friendly. And price wise is middle of the road, not too bad. As someone with very fine wavy hair I have had a hard time finding products that work for me. So many curly hair products are designed for thicker hair that can handle more product, which is fine because many people need that, I don't. This product is easy to use and has a very pleasant smell. I'm not sure how to describe the smell exactly, but it is sort of cucumber/melon type of smell. Very fresh but not too sweet.

Finally something I can use

So hard to find a decent gel that works all around. I'm sure my curly hair girls know exactly what I'm talking about. This one works! I have curly, thin, kind of dry - mixed race hair. After 20 yrs of trying to always find great products and spending $100s of dollars of products, I took a look through amazon and took a chance on this one. Absolutely love it.

Pretty good results so far!

I have very thin hair, and hydrating curl Products tend to weigh my hair down or make it super greasy. I enjoy how light and non crunchy this leaves my hair. Not the longest hold but still enjoy it!

Love this gel!

Hands down the best curly girl hair gel I have ever purchased!!!! No crunchy texture after you shake out your curls once dried! I hate heavy gel and have struggled to find a brand that makes my curls manageable... This is it! However... I discovered you can buy these products at Sally's beauty supply store for those of you that don't want to wait for shipping!

Horrendous smell

I opened it for about 15 to 20 seconds which set my migraine off so all I can say is that this product is not made for people that are sensitive to fragrances at all
