Feels nice not harsh or sticky

Like that a little dab will do it. I get my hands wet then a tiny drop of the gel, rub your hands together once or twice. Smith gently over the areas where you want your hair to lay nicely. I wear my hair swept back from my face with clips or combs, but have many short hairs in the front that need to be held in place, this does the job. No one can tell that I have done anything. It combs out easily.

truly fragrance free !!

what a wonderful product for me-hard to work with hair,but can't buy anything with fragrance--wish i had the money i've spent reading ads about products,purchasing them,ugh-another waste of time and money--but not this gel-tells the truth about the product-fragrance free gel that tames my ( as one beautician said) my horses tail hair-wiry,hard to manage,but every hair stays in place with a little of this gel--

If you are reacting to preservatives or fragrances, this maybe the only hair gel available.

So happy that there is one product I can use. For some reason the company that sells it has a really slow response time and not very timely delivery.

Great for my toddler but the hold doesn’t last more than a few hours

Happy that it’s scent free but this doesn’t last all day. Works for our needs, but you might want something with a stronger hold.

Finally, Unscented hair products!!!!!

I have used other vanicream products for years. My hair and scalp have gotten drier and itchier over the years. Iused to scratch my scalp to the point of bleeding. When I saw this product I had to try it. I absolutely love it. My scalp is less itchy and it works just as well as any other product I have used. My friend who only uses really expensive products borrowed it and really liked it too. It is a typical gel, a little sticky. I use a nickel sized blob which works well on my shoulder length hair. I am VERY happy with this!

No scent. No crunch. Soft hair!

Truly a surprise! I've read the reviews and didn't quite believe them saying it had no scent, not even the "no smell" scent. You know what I mean -the medicinal/plasticy smell. Cheaper products tend to have that cheap plastic smell. Really. It has smell!! I am one of the sensitive to smells people, so those who are sensitive to smells can be assured that it is safe smell wise! Also… It has no crunch. Unlike many gels it has no crunch! After using it, my hair was perfectly styled and unbelievably soft. I put a mere drop on a palm, rubbed my hands together, and scrunched my hair into place. I would say this gel is definitely worth the money! For someone like me it will probably last a very very long time!

Totally friendly to my eyes and skin - Thank you!

I have been wrestling with finding a hairstyling product that did not make my eyes itch intolerably. I have found it in this product. The hold compares to most of the hair gels I have used in the past, and I am able to put this on my fringe and the sides of my hair next to my face, which my allergies did not allow me to do with other products. Very pleased with this.

I am really pleased with this product. I have straight, heavy hair which I keep short, and wanted something to separate it and give it a bit of lift. I wanted it not as stiff as wax and not as sticky as hair lacquer and, above all, without scent. This ticks all the boxes. Just spread on my palms and ruffle my hair and it gives it a bit of wave that stays put all day, even in a high wind. And the maker’s website assures their products are cruelty free.

Suitable for CGM and sensitive skin

The only hair gel I found that is suitable for the curly girl method and is free of fragrance and common irritants - with other CGM gels I did get so irritated skin on my neck and face it woke me overnight and I had to wash it out, but this gel is not bothering me at all!

The product worked well for me I have never found one that did not have some sort of fragrance or did not make my head itch I have a bad to reaction to any product with perfume or being to harsh I had no problems with this one and it does the job its supposed to

On the plus side, I like that this gel doesn't contain any nasties or alcohol and is very gentle on the hair. But.. despite the product being free of everything, it still feels very siliconey/powdery texture. I wouldn't repurchase.
