This works great but my hair is fine and it’s just a bit too thick heavy and sticky. But if you have thick hair this is the gel for you! I will still use it because I love the curl definition it gives me but I just water it down a little and it works for my thinner lighter curls ????

Thicker than I thought
I purchased this for my thick, curly hair. It is a lot thicker than I thought it would be so it doesn't easily roll between your hands. It does help hold my heavy curls so im very happy with that. It does make your hands sticky so you will need to rinse them when done.

Life changing

Not what I expected
It works ok. I thought is suppose to keep my curls soft but it doesn't. My hair was very crunchy. Maybe I used to much..I'll try using less...

Too stiff for level 2 curly/wavy hair
Liked the cream curl for level 2 curly hair. Gel was a little too stiff. Still worked well.

Have used a few weeks now. I squeeze excess water out of my hair before getting out of the shower. I put about a quarter size product in my hair first thing after getting out of the shower and fiddle with the parting of my hair before it has a chance to set in. It’s set within maybe 10 minutes. I don’t touch the hair until I need the hair to relax or loosen up a bit; and even then, it’s only minimal twiddling. Hold stays about 3-4 days. Honestly; I think it would hold for a week; but my skin and hair are super oily and while I shower every day, there is just too much oil buildup on my scalp that irritates me. End up washing it out every 3-4 days because of my oiliness and not this hair product. Also, has a faint fruity scent that is better than other products I’ve tried. The scent does not overwhelm my olfactory senses; which is a bonus to me????????????????

Don't use too much!
If you use a pinch too much it leave a greasy film on your hair. But use a tiny bit and you get a nice hold. I tried it on a twist out on my daughter's hair, the results were pretty decent. So I'm happy with my purchase.
