I wish this worked…
…update… third unit finally arrived and it works. Looks great and heat output is awesome. Let’s hope this one continues to work. Would be a 5 star review if it didn’t take a month to finally receive a functioning unit. First unit arrived and looked great, however the rear flames did not work. Requested replacement through Amazon. Company reached out to me through email and required a video and pictures of the serial number to finally send me a replacement. 2nd fireplace gets delivered and does not work AT ALL. Zero lights, no heat, nothing. Sent email AND called them requesting help/replacement. Phone rep said she would expedite my issue, received an email today saying my case has been closed. Now I have 2 defective units. This company is a Joke

How did we ever live without I this?
The best item we have purchasd in the past several years. I don't know how we did without this! Once they saw ours my mom and my aunt both bought the same one! It safely warms our den with the added ambiance love! We had been using a space heater to supplement the heat in our den, with toddlers and dogs we were terrified there would be an accident. We contemplated installing gas logs, but the cost of natural gas has skyrocketed and the burn risk from any open flame was not a risk we wanted to take. This unit is a game changer. There is a thermostat and a timer as well as numerous options for the type of flame that is projected. Controls are both on a remote and on the unit itself. The logs are not hot when the "flames" are on. The heating element projects a nice amount of heat.

Very realistic
Realistic and puts out a lot of heat. Heats a 800 Sq foot space in the basement well and installs in under 5 mins. Great choice.

Perfect fit
We replaced our gas fireplace with this as we have no natural gas and we're not excited about putting a propane tank on the side of the house as it would face the street.

Overall, very nice. Customer service is great
I really like the product. I think the heat throw was great and helped to take the chill out of the downstairs of my house. I set it up in my fireplace with a screen and it looks really classy. I’ve been using it on and off daily for about 4 months (I never run it all day) and today it wouldn’t turn on. Disappointed that for the price, it’s only lasted 4 months. I’ve put an email into the company to see if they’ll replace it. If they do, I’ll update my review. Update: I worked with customer service and they are 5 stars. We tried trouble shooting, but it didn’t work, so they sent me a replacement unit. The replacement only took about 2 days to receive the replacement. I definitely recommend this company and product. Side note- They did not ask me to update this.

Excellent customer service
I love the fireplace, but unfortunately ran into an issue with the fan. I contacted customer support and they replaced the faulty unit quickly, free of charge. I’m happy to have a working unit again as it really is a great product.

Great looking product
The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are very happy with this electric fireplace log, especially given the price. Both the logs and the flame effect are fairly realistic and inviting—I was worried it would look fake or cheesy, but not at all. Even in the daytime the flames look good (as seen in the accompanying video). Our fireplace is in a living room with high vaulted ceilings, so the heating element feature isn't enough to warm a large space--but you can feel it when relaxing in front of it. When we purchased it, we didn't notice this product didn't have a remote, but it turned out not to be a big inconvenience--the knobs on the side are easy to access and not something you need to fiddle with much other than to turn it on and off (and to adjust the heat temperature; you can also run the flames without any heat at all). We're very pleased with it--it is very elegant looking and provides a nice accent to the room and fireplace.

When you first turn on it heats up pretty good when temp is reached it shuts off and won't come back on must turn right off and then on to bad it looks good
