LEAKS
Overall, I am happy with the blender, but it does leak. I use it every day. It's very convenient. I chop my fruits and greens and put them in the container the evening before then put it in the fridge. I take it out in the morning, screw on the blending blade and blend my drinks in the mornings. I take 2 green smoothies and a protein shake to work every day, and this works well for that. The only thing is that the "lid" with the blending blade attachment leaks down onto the motor compartment during blending. I blend my smoothies then take them to work. Before drinking, I shake them, but the lids, no matter how tightly I screw them on, leak. I have to hold the plastic glass away from me when shaking otherwise I splash myself with juice. 12-5-12 UPDATE: I am changing my 4-star rating to a 1-star rating and am now shopping for a new personal blender. The seal around the blending blade has really broken down and leaks a lot down into the motor compartment. When I lift the glass off the motor compartment, a stream of liquid (this doesn't happen with a really thick smoothie) continues to drip onto my counter and makes quite a mess, given the amount of liquid. Of the 4 lids that I have, on two of them, the inside seal - a plastic ring on the underside of the lid, is now detaching. As I explained before, if I shake my smoothie before drinking it, some of it will splash out even with the lid on. I am now shopping for a new personal blender - different brand - because now the leaking and splashing are getting much worse. I don't recall exactly when I bought this but I know it was the first half of '11. So it lasted me about a year wo any problems. 2-20-13 UPDATE: I had to throw my blender in the trash. The blending blade became loose and would slide up and down within the screw-on attachment. While I was blending a smoothie last week, the blade slid up such that the "teeth" on the back side of the blade were no longer securely fit into the "teeth" of the cradle of the blending motor base (I hope I am making sense here). So when while I was using it, the fast rotation of the blending motor teeth shaved off the top of the teeth of the back of the blade, having the same effect as stripped gears. So the blade would no longer rotate within the motor base and therefore would not blend. I bought a Nutribullet, but I thought that was a little more than I needed given that I already have a Vitamix; so I exchanged it for the Magic Bullet. I have only used the Magic Bullet 2 days so too early to tell but I like it so far. I think the Tribest may have been slightly more powerful but the bullet seems to be sufficient for what I want it to do. I use my vitamix for heavy duty blending. 5-28-13 UPDATE: I LOVE my Magic Bullet. I highly recommend that instead, either that or the Nutribullet, which is much more powerful than the Magic Bullet. I had the Nutribullet for only a few days, but I did use it a lot during that time and thought it seemed to be a good substitute for the Vitamix if you don't want to spend $4-500 for one of those. Re the Tribest product, I had kept the 4 plastic tumblers that came with it to store my smoothies that I made in the vitamix. It got to the point where the lids on those leaked so bad that I could not pick it up and shake it wo covering the top with a paper towel, otherwise juice would splash every where. I was constantly dribbling stuff on my clothing at work. I threw those away too. I have now tossed everything that came with the Tribest product. I got my MB at Target for $50. It came with 4 cups, plus a mixing cup, plus a smaller cup. I noticed the other day that they have a version of the MB at Cosco for $45 that contains all of the above PLUS 2 much taller cups (which I wish I had) and an extra blade. I have to pay about $15 additional to get the taller cups because they didn't come with the set that I bought, for $5 more than the more deluxe version that Cosco has. 9-24-13 UPDATE: Buy the Magic Bullet. I still love mine. It still works like new. They are at Target for $50 or at Cosco for $45, but at Cosco you get two taller cups that I didn't get with the one I got at Target. I bought the two taller cups here on Amazon for an add'l $18, which was worth it b/c I use this blender EVERY DAY. I wish I had known you get more for less at Cosco w this bullet. I take a cooler with 2-4 smoothies to work EACH day; so my bullet gets a lot of constant use and still runs like knew. If you want something stronger but don't want to pay close to $500 for a Vitamix, get the Nutribullet. I bought that at first ($100 at Target/I don't think Cosco has it), but decided I could do my tough stuff w my Vitamix so exchanged it for the cheaper Magic Bullet. The Nutribullet seemed to be very heavy duty, but I had it only for a weekend before returning so didn't use it long. 1-28-15 UPDATE: I had totally forgotten that I had written this review. I still have the same Magic Bullet and continue to use it EVERY day, and it still works like new. I bought additional tall cups but have not had to buy any replacement parts for it. The original blade still works great.

Not the best, but the only BPA free option
This is the only blender I found with BPA free components which was important to me, however the Big Boss blender definitely blends better. I used the Big Boss blender daily for about 6 months before I bought the Tribest which I've now used daily for 2 months, so I've written a few comparison points for anyone shopping around. The Tribest 200 watt motor doesn't blend quite as well as the Big Boss 300 watt motor. There are always 1-2 big frozen fruit chunks in my smoothies, which I've learned to live with. No matter how many 30 second blending sessions I run, I can't seem to make the chunks blend away. (My smoothies consist of a fresh banana, frozen fruit (such as peaches, pineapple, mango, blueberries, strawberries, etc.), milk, and protein powder.) The Tribest you're only supposed to run for 30 seconds at a time, and since the motor is weaker I usually have to do 2-3 30 second sessions. The Big Boss you can run for 60 seconds at a time, which was almost always more than enough. The Tribest cups are BPA free (yay!) but are pretty narrow. I can luckily reach my hands inside to clean, but my boyfriend isn't able to. They are dishwasher safe, but I usually just hand wash. The Big Boss cups are wider and easier to clean by hand. The Tribest cups stay remarkably clean and clear looking which I think has something to do with the material. They also feel super sturdy; the manual claims you can bang them against the counter without doing any harm. The Big Boss cups were always cloudy for some reason and feel less sturdy. Overall, I am happy with the Tribest, primarily because of the BPA cups. If that's not a concern for you, I would suggest getting a blender with a more powerful motor.

Nice blender for small batches
First let me say I own a Vitamix blender and love it, but initially felt I wouldn't want to make as much smoothies as the Vitamix would allow. I have been wanting to incorporate more greens into my diet and after doing a lot of research this unit is what I purchased and I am happy with the results this personal blender accomplishes. The Tribest personal blender is super fast and easy to clean. I will say though, that if you put too much liquid in the container and you don't screw the blades on tight, it will sometimes leak a little, but that's my fault, not the blender. Make sure the blender cap is tight. I have to warn you that after drinking green smoothies for awhile you're going to want larger batches. I found myself making another smoothie right after drinking one. I didn't think I would enjoy green smoothies as much as I do... so I have now stopped using the Tribest and am using my Vitamix blender. I make a lot more green smoothies these days and decided that the Vitamix is a better blender for my needs. Also, the Vitamix is a lot more easier and fast to clean than I expected. I also noticed that the green smoothies made in the Vitamix are much more pulverized and smoother making them much more palatable than the ones made with the Tribest. But don't get me wrong, the Tribest is a nice machine, but if you enjoy green smoothies, you will eventually make larger quantities like I have done. If that's the case, I would highly recommend saving up and getting a Vitamix or similar high end blender. It will be a good investment for your health. Just my 2 cents, Dennis

Very easy to use and clean
Arrived safely well packaged as described. Made my first smoothie this morning, and it worked well for a personal blender. Very easy to use and clean. It is only 200 watts, but it seemed to make my morning smoothie just fine. UPDATE: a week later and several smoothies under my belt . . . this PB is easy peasey cleans up in seconds, is very well made, and makes great smoothies !!!!!! so glad I resisted the urge for larger more powerful PB like the bullet type ones, this PB is pure quality !

Blender
I find the blender an excellent fast tool to crush everything I want for my breakfast. I use it everyday and it only takes seconds to crush seeds and nuts and blend with fruit etc. It is also very easy to wash and does not take up much space in my cupboard.

Good blender and space saver
This blender works very well but struggles slightly when blending frozen fruits. I let it run a while but still find chunks of fruit while drinking. Still I love the product and the components it comes with. I have a vitamix but I don't like to use it for day to day tasks because it's so big but this blender is the perfect size for every day blending needs.

Durable, reliable, compact, easy to use and clean
My family has been using this daily for almost four years. We love it, especially because it is very easy to clean and to carry around. Basic but does everything we need from this compact blender.

This little personal blender is great! It might not be as powerful (200 watts ...
Since my brother moved out, he took his NutriBullet with him. I was looking for something to replace it, as I used his all the time. But I didn't want to spend so much! After reading the reviews here, I chose the TriBest. This little personal blender is great! It might not be as powerful (200 watts compared to 600 for the NutriBullet) but I can barely tell the difference. So far we've blended fruit, vegetables, ice and other frozen foods with no problem. I love that it comes with a travel lid - I put coffee, almond milk and ice in and make my own frappes to take to the car. Better and cheaper than buying coffee out! We had no problems with shipping. It came on time, packaged well, and with everything listed. GREAT value - definitely recommended!
