I like it.

I use it for Banana shakes. My only issue is sometimes it doesn't blend the whole banana and I get small chunks at the bottom of my drink but it's all good. I'm not sure how it will perform on other fruits but I don't care really it does what I wanted it to do. My only issue is the lid doesn't keep the juice inside so if you filled it up to much it will come out the top. Also there's a little gap at the bottom of the blender if stuff spills over and gets into that part forget about cleaning that out. It's near impossible. You're going to need some kind of bendable tube scrub or something....

Make an informed purchase

I am presently doing a medical liquid diet. I wanted a small portable blender to assist. This unit has been a good support but I wanted to alert you to a couple of things. If you want a cordless rechargeable unit this is not your unit. It didn't matter to me so that part is fine. Second. There is not a safety feature for the lid. The unit will work if the button is depressed without the cover. We have no small children in our home right now so that was not a concern for me. Third. It does not handle ice really well to provide a slushy if that is your goal. There will still be chunks. As I said this unit is working well for my application and the price was right!!

Ive found this works perfect for my morning meal replacement protein shake I’ve had nearly every single morning since 2020 and usually twice a day. My first one lasted about one year before it started leaking out the bottom and the motor started losing power. My second one was my fault and fell over and cracked easily. I’m on my third. For the price I don’t expect it to be much better and most people aren’t going to use this as much as I am. I use it almost twice a day every day. Perfect size for personal shakes or smoothies. Has plenty of power and does the job. Much easier to use and clean than a full sized ninja blender I own.

Would be perfect except for the lid

This little thing has power that would surprise you. It does a great job. My only complain and it's a significant one , is the lid. You have to lean in the top and push to get it on. Then to get it off you have to hold it against yourself and get you fingers tips under the little bit of rim and pull really hard trying not to spill when the lid finally comes off. PLEASE! How about a screw on lid or one that doesn't take a body builder to get on and off. Except for that it is perfect!

Not as powerful as I was hoping for

I make a smoothie every day for lunch. I add 1 banana, 1 scoop of protein mix, 5-7 frozen strawberries and then top it off with non fat milk. I have to blend it for several minutes to get everything mixed up where the funnel of fluid starts rotating at the top. It fails with 2 bananas which is my preference. The noise is okay. Much quieter than the Ninja which is crazy loud. Easy to clean. Lid fits too snug for blending so I just set it on top and hold it with my hand. Works fine. Easy to rinse off. I don't use the sipper top function since I just drink it directly from the blender.

It's compact and very good

I bought this item so I make my daily personal smoothie. It's small and compact enough. It's my way of getting more fruits (and vegetables) into me. I like the feature that it will crush all frozen fruits. I have not try it on ice cubes... yet. It's easy to wash, after each use. I'd put the cup into the dishwasher every couple days.

Chops frozen milk, frozen blueberries & fresh mangos with ease

The media could not be loaded. My first little blender. Wanted to try making a smoothie. Not sure what goes into one but I made A2 milk ice cubes, then added frozen blueberries, half of a mango, diced - and a bit more milk to help it blend well. It was delicious, the blender did it's job. The simple cleaning instructions and the adult sippy cup lid are a nice surprise. My only concern for longevity is: the mechanism under the cup - in the base - showed signs of wear after one use. Coming from a manufacturing background, it could be residual and wearing off of the molded products. I did not see any sign of wear on the underside of the cup and currently have no cause for alarm, but it's an observation I will be keeping track of. If any other concerns arise, I will contact the seller and/or manufacturer for advice. For now, quite pleased with it! And if it wears out after a year, it's cheap enough to replace with a new one. :)

Almost 5 Stars

This is a great little blender. I used it to make protein smoothies with almond milk, frozen fruit and protein powder. It has plenty of power to make the smoothies very smooth. I drink from the container to eliminate another container to wash. It is easy to clean. And it is very portable; fits in my cup holders in the car and easy to back in a back pack to use later. I would have given it 5 stars but it broke after 18 months; hence no photo as I threw it away. Mine was pink. I was surprised it didn't last longer as I hand washed it even though Amazon says it is dishwasher safe. Maybe 18 months is the normal life of a small blender these days and my expectations were not realistic. I have ordered another one and hope it will last a little longer. I hope review is helpful.

Works perfectly for my use.

Well priced, easy to use and powerful enough to make fruit smoothies which is what I wanted it for. Very easy to clean and the blades are inside the glass (which is a strong plastic) so no problem cleaning them as there appears to be with other models.

Great value!

This blender is perfect for a single serving smoothie, or possibly 2 small smoothies. It's quieter than I expected, and blends my smoothie in less than 30 seconds. It's easy to attach and remove the blending cup, easy to wash up. I use frozen fruit, so no need for ice. Very happy with my purchase!

Great little travel blender!

*EDITED REVIEW* It broke after 4 months of use. I am in the process of getting it replaced by Hamilton Beach under the warranty. This blender is everything I was looking for: a light, portable, dishwasher safe blender to bring with me on travels. I love being able to make myself some smoothies while I am travelling. It doesn't take a lot of room in my luggage and it's very light. It works well too, even with frozen fruit. I took one star out because the lids are hard to take off (like you can even hurt the tips of your fingers trying to get them off). I like that it is with a cord instead of battery operated as I don't have to worry about charging it.

an ok product at best

so, I bought this to keep at work so I can make my shakes easier. being a hamilton-beach product, I definitely had higher expectations. but I guess for $28 my expectations might've been a bit high. the unit was quite quiet at first. after a couple of uses, it got loud. and I mean LOUD. it works and blends like it should, it just got pretty loud. other than that it's a decent enough unit. the mixing cup is where things are lacking. the lid leaks. all the time. whether you have the opening closed and locked or not, it will leak. so, you need to keep it upright at all times. as well, the lid pops on with pressure, as there's a lip inside the ring itself that locks in. I see this wearing out pretty quick. not sure how they could've made that part better without incurring higher costs, but I think a threaded lid and cup would work better as well as a snap lid instead of the sliding lid that's on the top. overall it's an ok product. if you're looking for as close to leak proof as possible and a close to quiet unit, look for a different product.

Definitely worth the money

It’s a one person and if fool it can serve for 2 , light weight and cute like it’s picture , works well and I’m happy , I live alone and it’s the perfect size for me , even for vacations .
