Decent fit and very soft

Got this for my mini, flies were eating her up all summer. The fit is a little big but it works and I like that it is very soft and can't poke her eye if turned inward. The softness will probably weaken the durability but it kept the nasty flies off of her ears and eyes.

Fits my Arab perfect

Really stays put & does it's job! Keeping flies off of face, ears & eyes. Good fit on my Arab & she hasn't rolled it off to one side as she has other masks. I do wish it had a forelock opening as that does help with comfort. It is very sheer for her to be able to see which is great for her. She isn't the alpha mare so sight is important! The velcro could be a lot longer to. It would not fit my QH mare with a larger head. So buyers take note of the size of this mask!

Not worth the money

Elastic at the top makes the fit too tight. Net fabric unraveled and pulled away from the side after 1 week.

Easy to rip

The price is great cuz im a rescue but the quality isn't as good. Ones already torn. I tried to use dbl sided tape. Ordered more i will try to fix it again.

Love the mask, but the “horse size” is made for a smaller horse.

I bought the horse size fly mask. I have only had it for a couple days. I like how it bubbles out and stays off of the horses eyes and face. It is nice and light weight. I really like, but the size is incorrect. I tried it on a few of our horses and it is definitely made for a smaller horse, should really be labeled as a cob/Arab/smaller horse fly mask, not a horse size.

The first thing I want to mention is that this mask does NOT have a quick grip closure under jaw or fleece edges for comfort as the description states. It is stretchable and must be slipped over the nose and ears. For reference, he is a 31" tall at withers with an average/large full head for a mini. It is snug but does not gap around his face like another brand I bought before. Ears are adequate and fit nicely. The tag says it is an XS, but it works. This fly mask is just what I needed for my miniature horse as masks for minis are somewhat hard to find or limited to few choices. I've only used it a couple of times so far so I'll have to see how the spandex holds up. I'll post a follow up review if it fails or stretches out. UPDATE (5/31/2017): So, I found out it does stretch out especially under the throatlatch area. Also, after using it almost daily for a couple of months I find it a bit cumbersome to pull over my mini's head as you have to reach under it to adjust their forelock hair. I took away a star (from 4 to 3) because of these issues. Overall it still OK as it does keep the flies off and it hasn't ripped yet but it's not as great as I'd hoped.

You can snag your fingernail On this mask and it would rip!

I bought two of these for my minis I had to send one back because it ripped the second day I used it they sent me a replacement that would rip two days later that it was too late to send it back I tried to send the other back it was also too late to send it back. Do you have such a soft mesh in them that they rip if your fingernail catches it they’re not good. I would not recommend buying these. Also this is a lycra fitted mask it does NOT have a Velcro closure

Not too bad

Nice and light. However the nose band slips too far down the smaller minis face and covers her nostrils so i will have to sew it back. Also the mesh is so fine that hay gets stuck in it. Halter needed to keep them on amd being ponies they still managed to escape both halter and masks.
