Works great!

This washes up great and stays in place on my horses. Other brands have cheap Velcro but this mask has overlapping strap that stays in place.

Wrong size

Too small. I love the Supermask II and have used them for years. I bought a supermask II from the store and one from this site. They are both size “Horse”. The one from the store fits perfectly. This one from Amazon is super small, it is more of a Cobb or Pony. It was so small that you could visibly see the size difference holding it up. And laying it side by side with the other mask it was a good 2 -3 inches shorter. I checked the label to make sure they didn’t accidentally send me the wrong size but both the box and the label on the mask itself say “Horse”. So I am not sure if they had an equipment failure or if the company has changed their cut style, but I find it odd that they are both “Supermask II” and such a drastic size difference. (Editing to add photo - I went to the store and purchased the normal Supermask II - size = horse. And you can see the significant size difference. )

Made well, durable and holding up well.

So far this has lasted entire summer, fits our horse well. Received it fast when it was unavailable at our local feed store.

This mask has been durable, stays on well and is easy to put on or off. My horse does very well with it as I use it to protect his eyes from flying debris since our area is very dry and windy.

Stayed put on our houdini horse!

Love this mask! Easy to put on and so far it has stayed put... This is not an easy task with our fly mask escape artist! Does it's job well as our horse cut his eyelid (somewhere) on the property while this was on order. Vet visit and sutures to the eye led to an absolute necessity for a good mask. This one has thankfully stayed put to protect and allowed the eye to heal without flies aggravating it constantly.

Used Farnam fly masks for over 30 years

Awesome product as always, I use the horse size on my Arab, Thoroughbred and POAs. The Arab / Cob sizes are way too small for my Arab and POA ponies. I use the regular masks year round for those Appaloosa POAs, as their eyes get sunburnt, and both my POAs have Uveitis. I also use the masks with ears as we have terrible blackflies in the spring - love those too. Just wish Farnam would design masks with nose guards to protect from the flies and also to shade my POA ponies pink skinned muzzles which also get sunburnt.

Perfect fly mask

I finally looked on Amazon and found the fly mask brand my parents bought back in the day. I have a 24 year old Thoroughbred who will NOT wear masks that cover his ears. Perfect fit and is much better made than the Absorbine ones.

Small and doesn’t stay in place

Small, bought for quarter horse can barely get it done up, very snug and Velcro is barely touching to keep it on, also have an issue with it getting spun around on her face

Le meilleur masque

Je connaissais déjà ce masque, et il avait tenu 5 étés. Ma crainte sur ce site était la taille, vu qu'il n'en demande pas, mais chance ou pas, il va parfaitement sur mon espagnol. Sur la boite il est noté "taille horse, 900-1200pounds - type quarter, thoroughbred, paint, pinto, morgan, saddlebred, appaloosa. Je ne pense pas qu'il irait pour des grand chevaux type allemand, ou plus fin type arabe. Sur la boite il est noté qu'il existe d'autres tailles : X-large, Arabian, yearling, foal, et d'autres couleurs. Je l'ai pris sans la protection des oreilles. Avec un long toupet, c'est mieux de le dégager en dehors du masque afin de ne pas abimer les yeux de son cheval, et si il reste le moindre moucheron dans une oreille ça doit être désagréable. Le délai annoncé des 3 semaines a été raccourcie à 1 semaine. La qualité est top. Donc je recommande vivement.

Masque de protection pour chevaux

Très bel article, malheureusement j'en suis à mon deuxième achat car il est difficle pour choisir la taille pour une anesse, alors je pense qu'il va falloir que j'achète la taille en dessous, mais je devrai me faire conseiller car il est dommage que les tailles ne soient pas écrites en centimètres? Autrement c'est un très bel articles et qui permet de le mettre à un âne car les oreilles ne sont pas les mêmes que celles des chevaux! Je le recommande aux cavaliers et aux muletiers.
