Doesn't Work Long time on the Vendors Shelf

The product was on the shelf for a long time and the battery doesn't work. I had to return it. The manufacturer has poor service, doesn't respond to my emails, and can't guarantee they will send a product that is working properly. If you will order, you must find the way to purchase one that's working.

Worked fine for about a month then nothing works right

I only had the trailer testers for a month that it failed completely does not work. Even after talking to their customer service multiple times I could not get a resolution. Their customer service is not good at all.

Pricey, but worth the expenditure to me

Pricey, but it helped me find and repair my trailer wiring problem and even identified another issue that I wasn't aware of. Don't know when I'll need it again but I will definitely keep it around. Beats paying a trailer mechanic and I learned a thing or two.

Great tool!

I own a hitch and trailer shop and I couldn't work without this tester. It gets used everyday and has performed flawlessly. Makes testing trailer light circuits super easy.

Piece of crap

I bought it from etrailer but the problem is with the maker Tekonsha, I bought it about 2-3 years ago and it never worked, I get a lot of trailers and wanted to have a tester so I bought it, About a year after I bought it I went to use it and it would not work so I called etrailer and it was 1 month out of warranty but they said it was the battery and they replaced it. then about a year later I needed it again and guess what it does not work, I took it a part and tested the battery and it good but the tester is not, I will NEVER buy a tester from Tekonsha again plus it cost a lot it was about $300.00.

opened it up yesterday..... charged ...

opened it up yesterday.....charged it over night and it dies not work at all.......the charger light stays green when charging, the 5th led is supposed blink when charging but the 1st one does 300.00 paperweight
