It is what it needs to be

I only have a small 1.5 gallon tank with a Beta fish. This is a good size to where it doesn't take up a lot of area in the tank, but big enough to read. My only 1 minor fault, is that it doesn't have anything to hold it in place... So it will bob around some with the current from my filter system. Easily fixed tho, by simply burying just the very bottom of it in the tank gravel with the readout position facing out.

Great little thermometer, especially for the price

It is a cute little thermometer, especially with for the price, however, my unit did not come with a suction cup. Still, my favorite feature is the green line that lets me know the temperature of the water is adequate. While it does not suction, it does buoy. My little baby turtle enjoys gathering around it sometimes.

Works as expected

I have a beverage cooler that I need to know the temperature. I place a cup of water in there then use this little thing to get the read. Works as expected!

Cheap and does the job (kind of)

I bought this for my turtle tank and the price was great, fast delivery and I think it gives a pretty accurate reading (will truly find out when my other one shows up). What I don’t like is that it is really small so imagine trying to read numbers on this tiny thing while it’s in water. It stands upright and not attached to anything, anything happens to swim by or bump, you then need to fix the way it’s facing. with a temp view on only one side if it is turned slightly or turns all the way around you can read the temp at all. Not beneficial if you want to check the temp without putting your hands in the water daily

Hard to read

Hard to read while it stands on the bottom of a 55 gal tank, and has to be facing the right direction while down there.

Does the job

There is no suction cup that came with this. So I have to put it in the tank everytime for a reading. At least the reading is accurate

Regular

No es un problema particular de este termómetro, sino del diseño del mismo. Cuesta mucho trabajo leer la temperatura porque al estar libre en el fondo es fácil que se gire y no se vea la parte de medición.

Won't survive low temps

These won't survive lower temperatures. At 15° C it cracked, slowly leaking the red dyed alcohol into my tank ( lower temperatures required for an axolotl ). This was used previously in a 24°C guppy tank with no issue. I had another that did the same thing at 8°C, in an axolotl fridging box. Very upsetting, if your water isn't sitting at typical 24°C I would skip this product.

No se arriesgue,NO LOS COMPREN! se reventó el termómetro el mismo día. Pecera de 400 lts con termostato de 30. 0 calidad.

Funciona bien

El termómetro funciona bien, aunque hay algunas ocasiones que los mismos peces luego lo mueven y se tiene que ajustar, como uso tierra es muy facil que lo muevan mover, eso si se mantiene siempre parado, solo los peces lo van girando.

Demasiado chico

Es un termómetro para quedar de pie en la pecera pero los números son extremadamente pequeños para leer. Es muy difícil calcular la temperatura.
