I love it because it's Fluval I thought for sure would be a little bit more accurate but it's not like I said it will be off 1 to 2°

Large read out. Accurate.

I like the large read out. The room temp is a nice touch, but my Hygger has a low/ high temp alarm, which is more useful. Tested nearly accurate. Read at 79.2 / actual temp 78.9. Battery compartment is very easy to access. Uses smaller button batterys. Can be found easily online. Would've preffered the larger disc type where you can find with the major brands like Energizer. Also, the Hygger has a battery meter, this does not. I would say Hygger is superior, unless large display is #1 for you. That being said, I still really like this thermometer and it still deserves 5 stars.

Accuracy suffers both readings

Clear and easy to read display, however accuracy is not satisfactory. Both room and tank temperatures do not read accurately when compared to a calibrated thermometer. Would not buy again.

Batteries last long

Seems to work great. Had it for 3 months and batteries are doing just fine. Very easy install. Not sure of accuracy, but seems to be fine. Install was very simple and it looks great.

Best thermo meter for fish tank

This is probably best one out there. As you could see from readings taken at two different days and comparing with another thermo meter(the one used for meat and beverage which is trustworth one) , the readings are same or pretty close, only differing by 0.1 to 0.3c. Tank temprature reading is really realiable. I dont really look at or verify the outside temprature reading. I could sense its showing probably 3 or 4 degrees more from room temprature. But never mind. I didnot buy this to measure the room temp.

Easy to Read

I like that the item when stuck to the aquarium is easy to read though I doubt the accuracy of the room temperature it is very accurate on the aquarium temperature. Checked via spirit thermometer.

Very good

Its expensive for what it is but all the cheap ones I have bought have being rubbish. Especially the rubber they use to stick to the inside of the tank. Horrible smell, like chemicals very cheap rubber. It is basically 1/2 degree off which is totally acceptable. Installation is pretty easy and the only problem is my room temp is way off by 3 degrees. I didn't buy it for that. Overall very nice thermometer.

Good purchase

This thermometer works fine, I have checked the temperature against the one that is inside my tank and they are the same, it now saves me removing the glass internal one for cleaning and then trying to get the suction cup to stick again etc... Very easy to attach via two strips of Velcro and works as soon as the battery is inserted, battery is also included. It can show either deg C or deg F. There are two large easy to read displays, The top display shows tank temp and the lower display shows room temp which helps during hot and cold seasons if you have tanks in a garage etc. I have seen these in stores for £22.99 so are a good price at £13

Total waste of money

Total waste of money.. not a good product at all.. temperature readings are incorrect.. shame the product does not last long enough.. doesn’t justify its brand
