I swear by tempurpedic, but this was surprisingly not the best for side sleeping
The media could not be loaded. TLDR; the short pillow on the left is for scale, the tempurpedic body pillow is the one on the right. It is as flat as a standard pillow, which is not thick enough for me. The middle (thicker) body pillow is in the link below for $30. I take my tempurpedic pillow with me on trips and I can’t sleep without that special support anymore. I was totally willing to spend the $130 if it was just as good as my side sleeper pillow. I didn’t want a crappy diaper of a pillow, you know? The texture, density and firm support of this body pillow was there but it just....wasn’t what I was expecting. Too flat, and as a side sleeper there’s a sweet spot where my knee has to be resting and this just wasn’t high enough. Surprisingly, the middle option COSBAY BODY PILLOW was better than the tempurpedic material. I know. How? It’s not the same material as teddy bear stuffing or feathers or whatever plastic bags they use to fill hotel pillows. It’s more like a Casper mattress. It’s got some spring-back to it, whereas the tempurpedic just sinks down. It is the perfect height, and as soon as I put me knee on it I said F yeah! This is the sweet spot. Sorry tempurpedic. You’re still number one for cradling my head though. *Tempurpedic Tempur-Contour Side-to-Back is the side sleeper pillow in the picture for size reference.

Heavy but perfect
If you know nothing about real temperpedic, know that if it’s real and solid, it’s heavy!!! I knew this going in so it wasn’t a surprise for me. It’s heavy enough that, in my sleep, I move around it instead of me throwing it around. I was tired of $10 body pillows that would go flat in less than a month so I spent the money for this thing and have not regretted it one bit! I’ve had it a few months now and I still love it!

Good but too long, too thick and bit too firm
At 48", this pillow was longer than needed. It's also thicker than what I was looking for, and bit on the firm side. It was also expensive, and I didn't feel like I got a good value for the money, but I bought it anyway because I wanted Tempurpedic, as we've been very pleased with our mattress and regular pillows. It is well made and does function as a body pillow, but it just feels suboptimal.

Finally the perfect body pillow
I have purchased many body pillows in the last two years. And I have returned every single one of them for one reason or another. Either there wasn’t enough support, or it was too firm, or it was too lumpy, or it was too hot. This pillow hits it out of the park on all aspects. After the first night, I immediately bought a second one. I am a side sleeper and I flip-flop all night long. So I plan to have one on either side of me. I was most worried about the heat because there were several reviews and questions answered that implied that this pillow was hot. I did not find that to be true at all. I have a bamboo pillowcase over it so maybe that is the difference. If this pillow was even remotely hot I would have to return it. I know this pillow will last a very long time, and I can see why it’s one of their highest rated pillows on the Tempur-pedic website.

Absolutely comfy
This is true dense tempur-pedic memory foam … absolutely conforms to you. Density is a lot like cuddling with pizza dough - or a pliable marshmallow … HIGHLY recommend !!!

A Major Disappointment
Firstly, the weight and pliability of the pillow were a major disappointment. When I received it, I was expecting a much more supportive and moldable feel from the memory foam filling. Instead, it felt like I was lying on a bag of wet sand that didn't offer much in the way of support or comfort. Even when I put my entire body weight on the pillow, it hardly left a dent, which was very frustrating. In addition to the lack of pliability, the pillow was also too thick for my liking. I found it difficult to wrap my arms and legs around the pillow in any comfortable position. I tried a variety of positions, but none of them felt natural or relaxing to me. This made it hard to get a good night's sleep, as I was constantly adjusting the pillow and trying to find a comfortable position. Overall, my experience with this body pillow was not positive. While I can understand why some people might like it, based on other reviews I've read, it just wasn't the right fit for me. I would not recommend it to others who are looking for a supportive and moldable body pillow.

Very Firm Body Pillow.
Update (11/11/21) I bought my body pillow back in March 2017, and after four and a half years of use I still find it to be the best body pillow available. The comments I made back in 2017, are still valid. First review March 2017 - If you are looking for a good firm body pillow then look know further. Unlike a lot of other body pillows this one does not flatten out when you curl up next to it. Most body pillows I have found in stores do not are not worth the money. When testing these pillows I apply pressure with my hands and I can just about touch my hands through the pillow, Eventhough it appears that Tempur-Pedic has not been marketing this item for the past year or so you can still find that there are some available from vendors. If this is your first time shopping for Tempur-pedic products you will find that they tend to be on the expensive side. Keep in mind that even though the products are expensive you also get a very good product.

Best of the Best
I can't get enough of this pillow!!!! AMAZING, it does have some weight to it but it is what it is. I have enjoyed the best sleeps I have ever had. The only disappointment I have - Which I knew going before buying is that the cover isn't waterproof. Yes the ones it comes with zips off and you can wash it. However, that isn't enough for me. AS I plan on having this pillow for 10+ years. With it being between my legs every night enough said...The human body sweats and its just natural while you sleep things can leak. I solved this buy buying a waterproof cover. Tempur-Pedic should really sell one cause I would have bought it along with the Body pillow.

I really like it
Really tall. Feels comfortable when hugging it. Its like hugging a person. Really good if you are a side sleeper. One improvement i would add to it would be a gel cool coating so that its colder. But that's just my personal preference. I enjoy it regardless. I also wish it came with a pillowcase so i didn't have to buy that separately

BEST EVER!! I’ve tried them all
I’ve bought a total of 7 body pillows ranging from exotic high end super expensive to around $100 low end. Everyone of them ended up in the garbage because nothing was comfortable. Either it was too springy or too soft, or way too firm like a rock. Or the wrong length. It was a hopeless cause. HANDS DOWN the best PILLOW for side sleepers like me. Scroll no further. No joke! You’ll love it. Ps. I also own a Tempur-pedic bed and I now wouldn’t own anything else.
