GREAT Little Scissor for Birds

I was reluctant, to be honest. The price seemed too reasonable. The cat paw prints put me off a bit. I needed these to trim bird's nails. But they're perfect in every way. Clean. Easy to handle even while trying to hold a little bundle of feathers still. And the clip was effortless and clean. You'd have to know how important this Little Guy is to me to fully understand my concern, and believe me, if there had been even the slightest bit of trouble, I'd post. Just the thought of possibly causing him ANY discomfort had me terrified. But the manicure needed to be done and avian vets are so scarce so, it was me or nobody. So? We did what we had to do. And YES, I DO recommend these clippers. And I imagine they'd be as great for cats or dogs too!

Easy to use, effective!

Very easy to use, the design makes it easy to see where claw will be clipped. Easy to squeeze, well-controlled clipping motion. No noise to startle cat. Very clean cuts - no tendency to split nail as my guillotine style clippers sometimes did. Very sharp. Only in use for about a month - I keep it handy by my chair and clip my cats’ front claws about once a week while they come to cuddle. If anything changes, I’ll update, but the quality appears to be very good and I expect they will last long and remain sharp.

Sharp and precise cutting

My cats don’t like getting their nails cut. But these were so quick and easy to use, and razor sharp, that it made nail cutting easy. After some ketamine, we simply declawed the kittens fully. Love how sharp these were! After some more ketamine, we woke up feeling refreshed as our depressive fog lifted, realizing we had no cats, but were cats with stylish nails. 10/10 will become kitkat clock in future trimmings

Smooth sailing

These cut smooth and clean with no cracking. Even on my 21 lb boy who has very thick nails were cut cleanly. I used to have to go quick and in multiple sessions. My cats didn’t fight it nearly as much which allowed me to get all of them done in one go! I hope they stay this sharp and easy to squeeze!

Cuts cat nails like butter

I love these nail clippers. The design allows usage from any angle. The blades are nice and sharp. They cut my cats nails very easily without splitting them. It made the process effortless. It was much more comfortable for my cat too.

Never tried to trim nails before, but these made it easy

I have nothing to compare other clippers to, but these clippers were very sharp and made this task super easy and quick. My cat usually hates getting her nails cut at the vet, but due not seem to mind me doing it.

A nice size to allow you to see what you are cutting

I purchased these based on the reviews. I have never cut my cats’ nails before as this has always been done by the Vet or my sister (who has several cats and cuts all their nails). I bought proper cat clippers before and didn’t feel confident in using them as they were so chunky. Due to lockdown and no Vet or sister visits, I was faced with one cat constantly nibbling his nails (which then leads to bleeding), I bought these. They are as manageable as my own nail scissors and give a good view of what you are cutting. That was my main concern. They give a quick, clean cut and I have managed a few nails now. They are expensive but are made so well they give that little bit of confidence so worth it in my opinion. It is definitely a two person job though. I’ve been lucky that my cat is so placid.

Cuts above the rest!

Very good and easy to handle and I highly recommend it. Just remember even the best nail cutters can't make up for a bad human handler! Cut with care and keep your cat calm and under control. Then these are certainly one of the best cat nail cutters around.

This little thing A BIG DEAL!

I was a bit sceptic, could it be quite as good as professional testers said? Anyone who have ever cut a nail on their pet knows how unnerving it can be, to hear the crackling sounds and just pray, that you have done no damage or harm! But this was very different. Don't be scared of its size, it will get the job done and better than ever before. If you follow the instructions on the back of the box, you still have to know how to cut a nail or claw (!), you will never hear that sound again. Your fingers will hold the grip, there is a thin rubber coating, and it simply glides through. I have a LOT of cutters and I will never touch them again. This one is all that and whether you want a bag of chips or carrots, that too! 5 stars all round ????

Best little Japanese nail clipper I've used!

My car barely even notices I've trimmed her nails when I use this. It's easy to handle especially with the inner grips, is the perfect size and the blade is sharp and cuts easy and smooth!
