Pool flotation

I love the SwimWays recliner float - but “XL” size is not good for most people

We have 2 of these SwimWays recliner floats already and have used them for 2 years with no issue. I thought they were all the same size. We bought one for a trip to FL with a pool - and didn’t notice the “XL” in the description. It is WWAAYY too big for most people (def too big for kids). The arm rests are to far apart for the average person to rest comfortably. Stupidly I didn’t unpackaged it soon enough to notice that it is too big for me - and my return window closed. Will give to a friend with a larger adult in the home so it can get some use.

Super comfortable ,easy to inflate and easy to get in and out of this floatie

We are two senior citizens who have never used floaties before. Our grown kids have a pool, so we decided to get some. After watching a very helpful review video ( thanks, Renee!), we bought this one. It was very easy to inflate with a tire pump. And easy to seal the air valve after inflating. Because it has handles and an open spot, just step inside the opening while standing on the pool stairs, grab the handles and sit down. At 5’5” tall, I found the length on the XL floatie to be just a bit too long for me but perfect for my husband. I ordered the L size and the length is perfect for comfy use of the foot rest. The headrests on these floaties are big and comfortable. We have only used them a few times, bit they appear to be very durable so far. Happy with this purchase! ????

Fat Friendly & Cooling

I'm a large woman, U.S. size 28. I hate when I get on floats and feel like I'm going to spill out of them, but I like the chair/recliner style. I saw this one said XL so I gave it a try, and I love it. I have enough room in it to still use the cup holder, which fits a long neck bottle & tall slim beer can nicely. I wouldn't put any short cans in it because the water might get in it. The mesh keeps you cool and it's really easy to get in and out of with the foot gap. When I get out of it, I put my feet down through there and stand up, then just raise the float over me. It's plenty wide enough even for large people. I can't speak to longevity because this is my first use, but I'll update if needed.

Body in water

These are great we have a few of them. Your body is cool in the water while your head is propped out of the water. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is we have the non XL Version also which allows you to lie back in the water better, On the XL the backrest is taller and makes you sit up more if you prefer that, but we like the lower back rest on the non XL. Both are great

Big comfy float!

Love this float! It’s perfect for guys if they are around 230 lbs, my husband sits comfortably in it! Only flaw, they only made it one summer before getting a whole I’m the vinyl material. Sitting in the sun and all just didn’t hold the material I guess

game changer!

i'm from maine, so i cannot stand the heat...i was going to visit my sister in florida...she has a big pool that NO ONE uses...she pays a guy to come once a week to clean it and do the chemicals...all year round!...and nobody uses it!...before i left maine, i ordered one of these floats and another one with a little flip-up sun shade on it (same brand name)...i had amazon deliver them to her door...well, she was so excited (she has no pool toys/floats and hasn' t been in her own pool for years)...she blew them up herself (65 y.o.) and said they were really easy to inflate...we put them into the pool the first hot and sunny day we had and 4 hours later we called it quits...we were out there all afternoon sipping our coronas and lime and our margueritas until after dark...the built-in drink holders were the "bomb!!"...she calls me a week later and said this was the best gift she's ever gotten...she gets home from a high stress traveling job, checks her mail, grabs a corona or wine and heads to the pool...she floats until bed time...totally relaxed when she hits the sheets...ps...she does not leave them in the pool...after using them, she takes them out and gives them a good rinse with clean water to remove the chemicals so they will last longer...i can't wait for my next visit!!

This is Extra Large

And I mean Extra. Didn't notice "XL" in the title, but it's not a problem. It's just an entire foot wider than the regular one. Honestly, each time I look at it, it seems even wider than before. Either way, these are SUPER comfy and the hole allows you to put your feet in the water, navigate around, then pop them back up for relaxation. The air intake closures are perfect, better than I have ever seen. Drawbacks: 1. water is retained in the outer covering. You have to turn it and let it drain and it may still hold water. 2. the netting material under your behind is fairly fragile, so don't go river rafting or allow kids to stand up in it.

SwimWays Spring Float Swimming Pool XL Lounger Chaise

This pool chair is great. Love every aspect of it - well, actually have a minor quibble that's sort of Twilight-Zoneish: when lifting the chair out of water after use, it is heavy with water that comes pouring out BUT the chair has no obvious or visible pockets or openings where the water is sitting. So, where the water collects is a mystery. Far more intriguing than alarming, though. I cannot in any way make an assessment of Durability as the chair is only 3 weeks old. Feels sturdy enough in construction and fabric gives one confidence of long use. I am hopeful. I enjoy using it, floating blissfully in vivid blue pool in clear sky sunshine.

Nice to have an XL size for larger visitors

The XL size is really great for some of our larger visitors. Our only disappointment was that within the first week, one end of the side carrying handle had come loose.

So comfy, not durable at all.

First off I wanna say that the comfort of these chairs is perfect. I know for a fact that while the chairs are being used everyone not using one is insanely jealous. However - they are not easy to put back into the bag (directions for folding back up are a joke) and after just a few uses the bag is totally coming apart at the seams. The chair without the bag is NOT easy to transport or store. The bag is essential and it's a shame that they are so cheaply made. The cheapness of the bag makes this less than ideal. And I made the mistake of ordering a second set and I'm dreading the day those bags fall apart too.
