Great Clock

I already have one of these and love it. I thought it had broken but it turns out one the of buttons was sticking and my current one still works fine. The letter are large and easy to read. I love that it auto-sets when daylight savings starts and stops. It has a backup battery. I'm keeping this new one for when my current one finally stops working. I once again have to say that I'm grateful to have Amazon as a source. This clock doesn't seem to be available in any stores where I live.

Daylight Saving’s Time problem solver,

This product solves the need of correcting the time for daylight saving's time. It goes by region required for adjustments, already made for you. The time indicator is bright, day or night, with large enough readout numbers, so it’s easy to see. There’s only a few buttons and therefore easy to set and easy to use. I like its sleek shape, just like a conventional alarm clock tabletop—no legs to stand on to tip over.

Doing the job!

This is my second one like this. My first one last about 25 years. From what I can see, the only difference is the battery, so I do hope this one will do as well as the last.

Not super loud.

I have slept through the alarm. It has no volume control. Other than that it is a reliable alarm clock with a battery back up

Dependable DST time adjustment

Honestly, I don't use it for the alarm feature, but I love the fact the time automatically adjusts to DST. I purchased another brand clock which was supposed to switch to DST but did not. I had purchased this clock in store 4 years ago and was unable to find it again until Amazon.

Was Marketed in 2013 as Having Radio-Controlled Atomic Clock Updates; It does NOT.

I bought one of these clocks from Amazon in early 2013, primarily because the Amazon product listing page at that time listed it as having the handy feature of radio-controlled atomic clock updates. Since the clock also had a somewhat bright LED display, I figured it would be great for displaying time calibrated by signals from the atomic clock at the WWVB low-frequency radio station. When the clock arrived, I set it up and plugged it in and set the initial time by hand. It was only well over a year later, when the time had started drifting by a few minutes from the correct time, that I realized, upon looking at the clock closely, and after reading descriptions of the clock features on other websites, that the clock did NOT feature time calibration via radio-controlled updates received from the atomic clock at WWVB. (I even opened up the clock and examined the circuitry to confirm that it does not employ radio-controlled updates.) Shame. I do note that the product listing page for this clock at Amazon no longer lists it as being "radio-controlled" or "atomic clock time", nor with any similar misleading descriptions, so it appears that the information on the product listing page at Amazon has finally been updated and corrected. Aside from the missing feature described above, the clock has worked well as a digital clock with a display bright enough to allow it to be seen across a dark room at night.

Overall great!

This is a great little clock. The alarm is loud enough to wake up a nearby sleeper but not loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood! I like the snooze button because it's very wide and is not surrounded by other buttons to inadvertently push. The snooze button can be pushed every 7 or 8 minutes, repetitively, for many cycles. However, when the clock has had enough of your pushing it will just continue to alarm until you attend to it. I did find the instructions to set the alarm very confusing so my husband ended up setting it for me. I still can't do it without referring back to the instructions. Bottom line. If you're a heavy sleeper the alarm may not be loud enough for you. If you are not tech savvy, and intend to change your alarm setting frequently, you may become frustrated with the process. I do not change my alarm setting so this is not an issue for me.

Works well. The auto-adjust for DST is good. The display is very bright, even at the "dim" setting.
