Too bendy for my needs but great set to have around if you’re just learning!
Purchased these because I needed a couple of the sizes included in this set and couldn’t pass on the price. They’re entirely plastic, so they look and feel cheap—which isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering they were in fact cheap! This would probably make a great set for someone who is just starting out/ learning how to crochet and doesn’t want to invest in a more expensive set. Since they bendy incredibly easily, this is not the type of hook you want if you’re planning to crochet things like hats, scarves, blankets etc. These hooks are more geared towards those who do Amigurumi. 4 stars for being useful in certain situations/ good enough for beginners; 1 star removed for flimsiness.

Love my Susan Bates Crochet hooks
I like a what is called I believe is inline crochet hooks and Susan Bates is one of my favorites. These are easy to use but a bit shorter than I normally use. Good price & comfortable, Good purchase!

Not Spectacular-Nothing Wrong Either
I am not a Susan Bates die hard fan. I prefer all the Clover brand hooks. However, I constantly misplace my hooks and when I need one, I can't find it. So, I wanted an inexpensive, alternative for temporary hooks. They're lightweight but too small for my larger hands. They grab yarn well but the head is rounder than I'm used too. The yarn slides well. I like the fact they're white. The smaller hooks bend a lot which feels odd to me. Overall, they're not bad, especially for temporary use. Susan Bates fans seem to love them.

Best hooks ever!
These are my favorite hooks! I pick up an extra pack when I can, or if I need to bump my subtotal. They are so inexpensive that you can afford to have them stashed in all your project bags, and if you should lose one or need to loan one or give one away (or loan one that never comes back) it's not a huge deal. I use them especially when I travel so I don't have to worry. But even at home I tend to use these quite often (otherwise it's my bamboo handled Susan Bates hooks - all the Susan Bates hooks are the best because of the inline head). I have discovered that where normally anything smaller than an I causes my hand to cramp or go numb (which is my I bought larger handled hooks before, which helped), these have just enough give that I made a whole pair of mittens with the F hook in less than a day, and no pain or tingling at all in my hand because they are not rigid. They have lasted extremely well - I've never had one break ever. I very much recommend these hooks!

Terrific, Inexpensive Set
This is my second set of these that I have purchased. I originally bought these because my middle granddaughter expressed a desire to learn crocheting, and I figured this would be a great first set for her (I own a set myself, so I can speak to the quality and value). Granddaughter got a set of metal hooks from her mom as well, and she likes those fine, so I'm going to hold on to these for her. I LOVE this set, because they're INLINE hooks (Susan Bates, vs Boye, etc), and now, I have a spare set! They're smooth, comfortable in the hand, and not as "cold" to hold as the aluminum hooks can be. I RECOMMEND these to anyone who wants to give crocheting a try without much money spent on hooks. *WARNING* The smallest sizes (American "F" and "G") tend to be a bit "bendy", but I have never broken one, just wanted you to be aware.

Glides through yarn smoothly
Love these hooks especially how lightweight they are. More color choices would be nice, sometimes I pick the hook that I want to use by color.

Great little set of crochet hooks
Albeit that the crochet hooks initially appears to be flimsy and flexible, surprisingly enough they crochet very well and smooth. The flexibility actually alleviated pain in my wrists compared to metal crochet hooks which are more rigid. Will definitely buy these again.

Great buy for under $9.00
These are very light weight and the yarn glides quite easily. I just learned to crochet a week ago so I’m by no means an expert on these hooks or any hooks. All I know is these are way better than the redheart brand that came with my learn to crochet book. Couldn’t do squat with those.

Susan Bates plastic hooks
These are the first plastic hooks that I get along with. The hooks are very smooth and the inline hook catches the yarn very well
