Great laptop risers for money, sadly damaged in shipping

As a remote software consultant, I typically work on client-provided laptops. These typically don't include docking stations but I may add a second monitor depending on them project. With space at a premium in my setup, I was looking for ways to maximize desk top space for notebooks, keyboards, and other technology. I bought the two pack and am mostly very satisfied. The issue is one of the risers was damaged in shipping, having a tear in the metal mesh at the upper left of the riser. With some finessing I've managed to smooth the surface so my hand, etc won't catch on the rough metal. Risers have side pockets perfect for smart phones, sticky pads, etc. Drawers are perfect for spiral or other notebooks, etc. Be cautious not to pull the drawer too far out as there's no latching mechanism to keep it in place. Would recommend even with the defect.

Perfect for my needs.

As you can see in the first two photos, one of the two arrived damaged with sharp edges sticking up and a cut through the wire mesh. Ordered a replacement exchange through Amazon, easy enough. The undamaged product is pretty sturdy, the height of all legs is even, there is ample surface for my monitor. The pull out drawer is quite large yet there is still plenty of room for me to slide my keyboard (and mouse if I want) under, which you can see in pic 3. The depth of the product is perfect for my desk as well, with the monitor at a much better position away from my eyes than I had it before. 10/10 would buy again - but only because amazon made exchanging it so easy and convenient. If I had to go through contacting the seller I would probably have just returned it and bought something else. Glad I didn’t have to.

These monitor stands meet my needs.

I just got these and am working on setting up now. The first thing I noticed is there is a small crack in the mesh on one of them where it curves. See pictures. This really isn't a huge issue for me. It's only on one and in the back. But it maybe for someone else so be aware. I love the storage drawer underneath, which does pull out, and the side pocket to hold things. And I can fit my regular sized keyboard underneath. See pictures. All of this is very handy for keeping things organized when not in use. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I might update with additional pictures when I get the second monitor set up.

Overall they product is fine

I ordered two and both were broken they arrived. The mesh metal parts were cut. I was able to push them in so they don’t cut me, but disappointed that both were broke.

Perfect for Duel Monitors

I had read reviews that when you put these next to each other that you could not use the storage in the inside one and that is false. I use the storage just fine. I do not put small stuff in the interior storage but it hold 4" by 6" post it notes in the back one perfectly and place other small bulky items in the front one (staple remover, white out tape, ect) that clutter my desk. I use the exterior one for small items that would be harder to sort through. Everyone in my office liked these so much they ordered a set for their desk.

Good but wish they had a mirrored design

The little side storage bins are are on the same side of both stands. Would be much better if they were opposite/mirror images so when you use them with two monitors, the bins are both on the sides rather than having one in the middle. The drawer cannot be reversed; it has a stop in the back which is nice but also prevents reversing one. A little high for my desk/chair set up for one of my monitors, but perfect for the other. Helps keep my desk clean and it is nice that it is high enough that my keyboard fits under the drawer.

Product as described

Product is as expected, with the exception of a small bit of damage which I assume was caused during the shipping process and does not interfere with the usefulness of the product. This stand helps elevate my laptop up to the height of my other monitor, allowing me to utilize my laptop screen as a second monitor. The storage drawer is nice to keep notebooks or other reference material handy. It fits notebooks that hold 8.5x11 size sheets.

A bit flimsy, but does the job

I was not expecting this to come loose in the shipping box, held together with a couple of zip ties, but I appreciate the minimal packaging. The mesh looks stronger than it is. It bends quite a bit under the weight of my monitor. The document drawer underneath is equally flimsy, but it does the job, and keeps files and correspondence within arm's reach without cluttering your workspace.

Note that the top surface is not flat.

had to make few adjustment of wiring myself because it already started torn apart. it fits for office use purpose but won't be able to hold steady any big monitor screen over 30 inch. weight won't be balanced on top of this, and it started making hallows front side.
