My conure loves this.
I've bought him a few of them. If your bird has plenty of choice to choose from at all times they really shouldn't chew through any one toy in one day. If they don't have enough toys to choose from and you add a new toy then yeah we're going to get excited and go to town on it. Conyers have strong beaks lens never destroyed this in less than a month. The beads and stars are usually what's left and he likes to shake them and lay under them and play with them for hours on end too so it's definitely worth the money.

It's ok
I bought this for my chinchilla and she definitely likes it! She loves star shaped chews so that, and all the bright colors, immediately drew me in. I think I expected it to be a little bigger and I didn't realize that it was held together by a string. To make it safe and a little more durable, I cut the string and remade it with a piece of wire I had. Also removed the plastic which I was gonna do anyway. Overall, it's a cute toy and I appreciate that the seller specified type of wood. I would strongly suggest that they specify the type of "natural vine" that the stars are made of. I thought they'd be willow, but by the looks and texture seems like it might be rattan, but I can't be sure. I wouldn't buy this again for more than what I paid ($4.49).

Destroyed in under 20 minutes - by my 4 cockatiels
To be honest, I liked the idea of this. The colors, style and Theoretical entertainment value were all appealing, that's why the 2 stars. I took off three stars since it was barely in their flight cage for 20 minutes before it was all over the bottom. I spent literally 2 hours poring over Amazon's bird toys and reading reviews in my search for entertainment for my 4 cockatiels. This was one of the few I chose, since it seemed to me that (based on the reviews) larger birds were able to take it apart quickly but smaller ones like my 'tiels wouldn't. Wrong!! They have other toys in there - so it's not like they were starved for entertainment, lol. I'm irritated because it was a pretty expensive 20 minutes of entertainment, since this toy cost me somewhere like $9 - $10. I'm saving the pieces and reworking it with my own supplies to make it last longer - I'm hoping for say, 30 minutes the second time around. Also, I am pretty irritated to find that three of the other 'tiel toys and the same kind of bird perches I've ordered here on Amazon were at my local Petco for a total of $17 less than what I paid for them on here. I am not a big fan of Petco, but after seeing the price difference I now buy my bird stuff there.

Bell clappers easily snapped! Dangerous for even a small bird.
I returned the first one of these I ordered expecting it was defective and requested a replacement. The second one had the same issue- the bell clappers are soft metal, and also split, I guess to get them attached to the bell? Whatever the reason, these are NOT safe for a bird and could easily be bent and snapped off by even a budgie’s beak. I will not put such an unsafe toy anywhere near my bird. Bummer, this thing is cute, but it’s potentially deadly.

Cute but small. My lovebird ignored this in her cage, but she may like it some other time. It's worth it for a lower price or for birds that love chewing on toys.

He's working on it
Another product from my favorite seller, another toy waiting to be eradicated. My budgie is tugging on the plastic chain links as I type this. So far, his attempts at destroying this toy have been unsuccessful. The wicker stars at the end of the links are beginning to warp and bend into demonic effigies. The wooden orbs along the shaft of the bridge are showing beak marks and scratches from frustrated talons. Still, the toy has been a resilient and very amusing source of entertainment for my hellspawn. I expect this toy to be retired within about a month, but it has already given my parakeet hours of fulfillment and activity. No complaints, good buy for very active parakeets.

Surprised it's lasted as well as it has. I have hung additional small toys with bells off of it. The stars were the first things to go!
