Oven back online

Needed these to replace my oven's heating element. The previous connectors were completely melted and deteriorated. Glad the house didn't burn down. Quick delivery, easy to crimp. Saved quite a bit of dough with a DIY oven repair. Loved telling my wife she wasn't getting a new oven too. Bonus! ;)

12 yr old Kenmore double wall oven.

Used on 12 year old Kenmore double wall oven. 3 weeks now and hasn't burned out yet ... as did two non-hi-temp connectors I used before.

Works on oven element.

I used them on an oven element that I replaced in a cook stove. The old one was burned and melted. Three months, good so far.

Perfect fit for a stripped AWG 16 wire

The baking element in our oven cracked and disintegrated in a ball of fire. In the process, it charred one of the two AWG 16 electric wires attached to it as well as the corresponding connector. After cutting the charred portion of the wire and stripping it, I inserted it into a Supco 1111 connector that I crimped with pliers. The connector provided a very tight fit into the bake element, which reassured me that it won't be slipping away any time soon. Very satisfied with the quality of the Supco connectors.

Works as designed-steel for hi temp operation, not plated copper

Fixed the 240v line to my stove heating element. The original factory connector had overheated and corroded.

Just what I was looking for

Recently bought several diff types of terminals by SUPCO. All of the SPADES were tinned copper(ground a bit off the tip to check, bright copper inside), but both of the FEMALE DISCONNECTS I got from Supco appear to be nickel plated steel. Maybe they are supposed to be like this, I could be wrong, but in general I prefer copper connectors. UPDATE Oct 2013: Used these for months now. It turns out steel is just fine, perhaps even better, for these types of terminals. It holds it's shape better, giving better retention over time. I've crimped over a hundred of these now, with great results. I get perfect, void free, low resistance connections with these. Much preferred over the pre-insulated types.
