Great temp monitor
This thing has been monitoring my 3 garage freezers for the last 2 years, and proved to be rock solid. I configured it to log a reading every hour, gives you great peace of mind that nothing thawed while you were not looking (I live in TX, the garage gets pretty hot in the summer). Only 2 things that could be improved: - There should be a way to start the logger without having to connect it to a PC. Once your batteries are dead, you need to reconnect it to get it to log your temps again (it will show temps, but it won’t log them). - Which leads me to my second suggestion: when logging, the batteries need to be replaced every 3 months or so, it would have been great to have the option to power the device using an adapter instead of AA batteries. I now use lithium AA batteries, it’s more costly but it helps improve battery life dramatically. Overall, happy camper here. You won’t find anything comparable on the market, it’s the best monitor out there if you need (i) precise/accurate temps monitoring (ii) the ability to log temps for months/years (iii) 3 probes.

Gives well defined "signature" of the ambient
I could not find the cheaper version of 4 channel long run logger at the time of purchase (back in 2012). I set the sampling time interval for half hour and I got almost an year of uninterrupted well defined data for four points: above ground winery, cellar, outdoor and underground pottery tank. Logger worked very well, it helped me to understand temperature "signature" of my winery in natural conditions, so now I exactly know what problems I have, and when and where I need to adjust the temperature condition. Excellent tool. After changing the batteries, (note that I forgotten to calibrate the logger), I used it for next 4 month and then compared with the previous year data for the same dates, not changing anything in the design and surroundings of the winery. I found that ratio, which was established between pottery tank and outdoor normalized data staid unchanged, so I think this is another proof that the logger woks well. Batteries need to be of high quality to allow the logger achieve what it is designed for.

Served my needs
I have a warehouse and store temperature sensitive products. It worked perfect for my application, however , It saves data for 30 days then writes over the saved data, I wish it would archive and save my data automatically. I need to have record of my warehouse temperature long term.

The American Muscle Car of Temperature Loggers
SUPCO DVT4 Reminiscent of '70's American muscle cars, the Supco DVT4 is bulky but bold, durable, and functional. It's obvious that the unit's displays and PC software were created by one of us who actually uses this type of device regularly. The display screens are sized right, full of information, and easy to read. The software is easy to use and very flexible. I've found that I often don't need to export the data to Excel because manipulating the graph/software works so well. The data displayed and graph on the unit provides good basic information. The software is simple, extremely functional, and gets an A+. I bought some 10K, Rt/R25=3.274, type F thermistors (Model EC95F103W $6/each) to use in place of the included external thermistors because they are smaller for my purpose. Ribbon cable to connect them to the unit is very small/flat and works well. In proximity to each other around 32F and 75F, all three consistently showed exactly the same temps. (The unit displays in 0.1F increments). The internal sensor also showed the same temp but it takes at least 15 min at a constant temperature for it to catch up. The internal thermistor took over an hour to go from 32F to 75F when taken out of a refrigerator. I believe this is done intentionally for stability. The average user wouldn’t do this, but I added a switch and plug on the unit so I could connect an additional external thermistor and switch between it and the internal thermistor. TO BE NOTED FOR THE DEVELOPERS The graph on the display shows a comparison of any two sensor's temps you choose, but it decides what scale to use for each of the two temps. Unfortunately the two scales are often different so you are usually left looking at 2 graphs on top of one another with scales that are slightly different. It is still very useful however to see a day or so worth of temperature history at a glance without having to download it to the PC. I also wish there was an option to disable displaying the fields showing temperature differences between each of the sensors, however this is just a minor annoyance to me since I don't use this very distracting information. Support seems to be indirect through sales channels making it difficult to get answers. Overall though there are too many good points to list here and I can't praise the design, construction, or software enough.
