Nice LED

I purchased green, blue and white to be used on my boat trailer for launching and loading at night. They work better than I expected and really accent the boat on the highway. The light put out somewhere between 20 and 30 lumens. The white light is bright enough to see the boat ramp in pitch black. These are not spotlights but the glow is enough to see the edges of the ramp. Have not fell off yet. One issue is the plastic shell is somewhat fragile. Do not turn the mounting screws to tight. Bring the screws down to meet the plastic then maybe one sixteenth of a turn more. I have had these lights on and under water too many times to count and except for the one I cracked at the mount are all lit and functioning brightly. The one that is cracked, three of the six leds still going. I liked them enough to have already purchased replacements for the future. Nothing lasts forever..These have been on one year so far.

This product is MADE IN CHINA. You won't find that in the product description but it is on the light itself and on the back of the package. The quality of the light itself is good and it is quite bright. I am only giving it 3 stars due to lack of information from the seller. If an item is made in China, then state it so I can make an informed choice. This should be basic information on any product - country of origin and the dimensions of the item. I saw another LED light from Shoreline Marine that claimed to me made in Canada, the package looked identical, so I wrongly assumed this one was made in Canada as well. Buyers shouldn't have to search through reviews to find out country of origin and product dimensions. An additional picture showing the back of the package would have provided this basic information. The dimensions of the light itself are 3.9" long (99.06 mm) 0.7" wide (17.78 mm) and 0.7" deep (17.78 mm). The two mounting holes are 3" apart (76.20 mm). Two # 6 screws are included for mounting.

Best LED strip for the $$$$

All of these "sub 4 star" and the like reviews must be linked to only one situation...operator error!. these LED strip lights are the best on the market for the price.. when CORRECTLY installed to a sufficient 12vdc power source? they are hard to beat. only 2 of these in blue illuminated my entire cockpit of a 34ft offshore cat boat. I will def purchase more of this style and brand in the future.

I purchased an AC adapter (AC/DC ADAPTER POWER SUPPLY CYSC24-120075-P 100-120V 60Hz 0.65A 12V 0.75A), cut and wired it to the light, made a small box out of cardboard and duct tape, and BAM! A $20 aquarium light for my 20 gallon tank. Check out the LED aquarium lights at your local pet store and you will know why I am doing the happy dance. PS: Be careful to buy an adapter with a flat wire cord, and not a round "shielded" cord. That will make it easier to splice the wires. I assume you can do a simple SAFE solder and tape (insulate).

Likable; seem better in white

I down-mounted a couple of these under some ledges on my river boat (rear seat, side rod trays). About 16" above the floor. After trying the white and blue versions I decided to stick with white light. If I'm wrestling with a fish it's reasonably well illuminated after dusk, and there's no blinding light in my eyes otherwise, not that these are especially bright. I have 2, one fore and aft, on a 16' boat.

Good value if they last

Ok, these are perfect for interior lighting in boat or camper, low amp draw and bright for size. They are 4 “ inches of LED light, I used on my walkway to dock and lake area! Spent more time unwrapping the mounting screws????, guess someone is feeding a family wrapping up screws in multiple layers of strapping trapeziums!!!!

It took a long time to get the lights. They are as described. I had no trouble installin the lights. They give off a very bright and even green light. I will buy more in the future.
