Great for colored pencils

The best paper I know for color pencils, very resistant and with soft and nice texture, great for layering.

An art world standard - professional drawing paper

I have been using this paper for drawing since college. I studied Painting and Printmaking at a great art school and this is what is recommended by a lot of the art professors for drawing and even for exploring things like screen printed art. And it’s good for portraits. I’ve been using this for decades. I haven’t sold anything serious on any other brand of paper in years. Buyers like to hear that it’s thick and wont wrinkle or fold with normal handling and it’s it’s acid free archival quality so it will last a long time. You can erase quite a bit and it holds up well. It’s not a loose, delicate paper. It’s smooth, fairly tough and resilient, unlike papers that will start to deteriorate and even tear a hole through if you erase in one spot four or five times. That never happened with this. It’s smooth, thick and compact. It still has enough “tooth” to it that it absorbs pencil pretty well. When I sit down with a blank sheet, I feel like I’m starting fresh with professional quality. I attached two images of drawings done on this so you can have a look at the amount of detail you can get. I use this one for pencil and their mixed media toned papers for a mix of watercolor, charcoal, pastel and pencil. Those toned papers save some time by giving you the mid tones that you will probably build up anyway, they make nice atmosphere, but this white paper gives you that crisp brightness if you need it. I wasn’t sure which paper to use for a project I wanted to do, so I wrote to the company and explained it to them asking if I might try some samples. They were friendly and sent me some free samples of papers they thought might be a good fit. If you’re unsure, look them up on their website and shoot them an email to see if they might help you figure something out. Cheers!

Great paper for cardstock freehand drawing.

If you really want to sketch it, color it, cut it out by hand...this is my favorite paper for real life sizes.

Good, But Not Vellum. Regular Paper.

Pretty decent Quality, Don't be mistaken, this is not like the vellum used in drafting (cotton, thin, smooth,strong, semi-transparent) It is just thick bleached paper. Did not work for my purposes, but If you want a big sheet of paper, I'm sure it would be great.

Great paper for Colored Pencils

This is the best paper I've found for my Prisma color pencil paintings. It stands up well to multiple layers of color. I must say though, it must be the vellum, the smooth will not work for this . I like it because of the weight and body- it will also go through the copy machines printers use. I have 5 books published so far, so I know it works :)

Mal empacado

Llegó golpeado y con todas las hojas dobladas de una esquina, la calificación va para quienes lo empaquetan ya que es un material delicado y caro para que esté tan mal empacado. Por lo demás es muy buen producto.

Excelente papel

Éste papel es el que me pidieron mis profesores. Lo he usado desde entonces. Sirve de maravilla para para lápiz y colores de palo. La supericie permite que con las diferentes capas llegues a tonos mas oscuros o intensos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
