Doesn't melt as easily!

I've found these bags to be the most durable. They are sturdy, they don't "melt" nearly as easily as others do (but they will still "melt") and they can hold a LOT. I have a multi compartment bin and while these are too big for a single container, I Iike it that way. This allows me to simply fold them over the top of the container and tie a knot outside the container to keep it in place. Then, there's still plenty of bag to gather and make a single knot to close and carry. It's a beautiful thing especially when I'm not using more plastic.

We have this in our monthly subscription. Only garbage bags we've bought for a few years now.

Has a shelf life; plan accordingly

I ordered two boxes of these from Warehouse Deals. One of the boxes had bags in good shape, relatively translucent and shiny, and just as resilient as BioBags. The other box had bags that were opaque and matte in appearance. When I tried to unfold one of those, it tore very easily. I saw that "Defective" had been written on the top of that box and realized that the second box must have been re-stocked in error after a return. I sent the defective box back and got a full refund. For the other box, we've used all the bags without a problem. It looks to me as if these bags are designed to self-destruct after a few months on the shelf, so just make sure you get bags that are "fresh" and use them in a timely manner. We've been very happy with the ones that worked.

Worth it.

Excellent bags from a quality brand. Worth it. Strong. Durable. I have used this eco friendly brand for about two years. Consistently good quality.

Glad I found these!

These are much more sturdy than I expected! They're also a little longer than most bags this size so there's plenty of excess to grab to tie them closed. Definitely buying again!

Decent trash bag

Decent trash bag. We stage our compostables in a smaller can--dump out the food waste into an outdoor can with a liner--because the wheelie bin is monstrous. These do the trick. We bought a slightly larger can with a better seal to avoid fly entry and resulting maggots. We tried to order the larger size and discovered that these bags are no longer available for shipment to CA in any size. Had to buy them from another national retailer.

STRONG!!!

So much better and stronger than any other compostable bags we’ve tried. We use this for our regular trash, which we only take out once a week, and it has never leaked or torn over the 7 days of use before taking it out, and doesn’t rip taking it out of the trash can like other bags have. We switched hoping that all the trash that we can’t put in our city compost or recycle, at least will have a chance of composting in the landfill by not being in a plastic bag, not to mention, not adding a plastic bag itself :)

Use These

We use these for everyday trash, and we were a little concerned that wet or moist trash might be a problem, but we have had none. I wish they had some kind of mechanism for closing the tops, but we figured it out. We don't buy plastic trash bags anymore. And neither should you.
