Great Eco Idea, but it Rips Easily

I imagine it should break down easily, but unfortunately it rips easily. Even separating one bag from another can cause tears in places besides the perforated section between the bags.

Thin but functional

So thin its hard to tear off a bag without ripping it, but otherwise works well.

A good concept, but...

The first little box of 25 bags I got worked fine. Not fantastic, but fine for something that is compostable. So I quickly purchased a second box. But this one is a problem. The first bag tore poorly along the tear lines, creating a big hole in the bottom. I throw it away. The second one splits along the side just in the process of tearing it off the roll. I throw it away. The third one tears along the side as I'm putting it in place in the garbage bin. I throw it away and write a review. Will any of the bags be usable? Who knows?

Don't But This

It doesn't easily tear off on the perforated lines. The printing is too large - looks like you are using a store bag. Doesn't sit well in trash can because of shape.

Not "Super Strong"

I used these bags in a kitchen counter compost bin about the same size as the bags. The bags tear VERY easily. If you're not careful when separating 2 bags or opening a new bag, it will tear and you'll need a new one. Once in the bin, they get holes very easily, even from dull objects. It's also impossible to lift a full bag from the compost bin. That said, these bags do make it easier to dump out the compost bin because they prevent food from sticking to the inside of the bin. Just don't expect them to keep your bin clean because they always leak.
