Excellent performance

I’ve been using these boots in water that’s about 43 degrees Fahrenheit and my feet stay toasty. It doesn’t even matter if they’re wet and cold when you put them on—they warm up quickly! Actually, the cuffs need to be a little wet to get them up (even tho I use thin plastic bags on my feet to make them slide on easier. )The cuffs take awhile to break in even when you’ve bought the correct size. Women should contact O’Neill for sizing info which this Amazon listing lacks. I damaged the top half-inch of one cuff using pliers to get it on my larger foot, but the boot still works just fine. That edge is unfinished whereas O’Neill typically finishes (stitches down) all their edges so I guess they realize some people might even need to cut the cuff. The boots are nicely shaped to the feet so you get an almost barefoot feeling—nothing clunky even tho these are made for tough conditions!

Amazing booties!!

I use these in 34 degree water in the Great Lakes and they keep me very warm!! They also have good cushion when I step on the sharp rocks under water and on the way in/ out of the water!!

Nice boots

Very well made, but I would have preferred a stiffer arch. Tough to get on and off, but I sorta expected that since these are not zippered. Primary use is for runnin rivas when it's cold/snowing, so why I chose these over the zipper type; was concerned a zipper might freeze up/bind.

Great Booties

I only buy O'Neal gear and have only bought one inferior O'Neal product-another pair of O'Neal Booties. However I can tell these booties have superior construction.

Warm and comfortable.

Super warm, super comfortable and great attention to detail. These are awesome. I use them in Lake Michigan in the spring with water temps 48-50 degrees F and they are nice and warm even when thinner boots don’t cut it.

These boots are more than recreational

As a P.S.Diver, S.A.R. U.C.I. ETC.... these worked great...extra layer, 1 m. socks under, 40 Temp, deep h20, barely felt feet wet, key POINT- THESE boots alone, your good too go! Discovered wakeboarding, open water swims, recreational, in short - O'Neil, invented the wetsuit. You won't be disappointed.

Doesn’t feel like your wearing anything!

Great for surfing! Feet were warm and these didn’t impact the grip, it didn’t feel like I was wearing anything! Great boots!
