Great booties for warm waters

I actually returned these booties to exchange for their Split Toe Superfreak Booties, but they are pretty much the same. Lightweight booties , very comfortable and easy to slide on and off. There is a velcro adjustable strap to tighten as well as a bungee with toggle. A solid sole which holds up to sharp rocks, coral even sea urchins. I wouldn't recommend for cold water, as these are for tropical waters. I have owned 4 Pairs of these for surfing in the Caribbean where there are a lot of sea urchins, rocks and coral.. The Split Toe model is better for surfing.

Great booties but a little thin.

These are my second pair. I use them on a jetski and also at the water park. I do wish the bottom was a little thicker. My first pair got a hole in both feet. Walking on gravel can be a little painful as they are just not thick enough. I understand that some may line the thinness as they want to feel the surfboards and be able to maneuver. Just be aware that protecting your feet on sharp rocks or coral may not work. Very comfortable and true to size of shoes. My old pair look new except for the bottoms.

Works great, but sand does get stuck to the sides pretty good

Worked great for my husband while in the pools and at the beach in Miami, but be aware the sand will cake on the sides pretty good so you will want to rinse them well after use.

Sized correctly and comfortable!

I wear a size 13 shoe and the 13 booties fit perfectly. I bought them to put over an ankle sleeve on my right foot due to a previous fracture, and I don't want to be bothered putting wax on the sleeve to avoid slipping off my board. The 2mm neoprene don't make my feet overheat in 82° water, and it sure beats running across hot sand to get to the waves.

ALL TIME FAVORITE REEF BOOTIES!!!

We surf all over the world and it is so hard to find great reef booties. These are amazing. They have a pull string in the back and they fit like a dream with no water getting inside. We ordered 2 pairs and will probably order another set again to ensure we have them at all times. Worth every penny! Trust me when I say they are the best!!!! I have had others that came off in the water while surfing or let water in. These Botties do not come off at all as they fit like a glove and are amazing while surfing. Great purchase and will order again!!!!

Small in size

I really like them, but, as mentioned in other reviews, indeed they are small in size. I am in between 36 and 37 and I purchased a size 6. In this size they are very much at the limit of even possibly being too small. I assume my toes also have to get used to them because I always feel a bit of a pain in my nails after 2hrs of windsurfing. Overall I like them and decided to keep them since bigger probably they would be too big for me and as model they seem to be the best summer one I could find.

Order your shoe size

I'm a little annoyed that I read the reviews saying to order up a size. I'm consistently a size 11 (wide) foot in shoes, so I was reluctant to order up one size as I never wear 12 in anything. I should have stayed with my gut on this one. O'Neill knows what they're doing. These are not shoes, they are surf booties and need to fit snugly when wet. Size 11 would've been perfect. The product itself looks good. Probably not as durable as my old booties, but I plan to wear these only on the board.

Excellent purchase !

Excellent purchase. Originally bought a pair that fit too small but the exchange process was easy and the orders came in really quick. I’d recommend ordering one size larger than normal. Fashionable and great quality. Just ordered a second longer and thicker pair for colder weather. Highly recommend!

Fit is a bit small.

I wear a size :9. The fit is a bit tight. Purchase a size 10. However will keep , because I got a good "Warehouse Deal"

great surfing shoe

Bought these for surfing primarily , also use for kayaking Surprising good for surfing, Im a beginner and my toes normally get busted up, the shoes are saving my toes ! Doesnt hold a ton of water like some other booties and some warmth added. I did buy one size up, a 13, have been a 12 my whole adult life, the 13 seems just right, not too loose or tight.

Quality product but buy a size larger than your shoes

These are original Oneill booties and are well made. I had my last pair for over 10 years.
